Everything made at the Dorset Bakery is amazing. From the cookies, pastries, cakes and coffee, you cannot go wrong. Please read: Do not sleep on the butter croissants. They were the best I've ever had, including the ones we sampled in Paris. Get to the...bakery early in the morning for the best selection of the freshest, best tasting goodies around. There is a reason why the parking lot is full. Folks in Dorset know the best and the Dorset Bakery is the best. A must when you are in the area. Don't walk, run to the Dorset Bakery.More

Great breakfast spot and wonderful bakery. Nice spot for breakfast and lunch serving homemade and local food. You order inside, find a spot to sit ,inside or out, and they deliver the food to you. Have been here before and it is still a very...nice experience. Nice area, nice restaurant/bakery. Freshly made breads and good food.More

Stopped here for lunch before going to a matinee at the Dorset Playhouse. Great food! Sandwiches were hearty and served with chips or slaw. Bakery items looked wonderful. Cute little seating area inside.

We live close by in Arlington and had some business in Dorset. Wanted to get a cup of coffee and asked and suggested we go to the Dorset Bakery. We did and enjoyed it very much. I had coffee and banana bread. Excellent. My wife...had coffee and a pastry that was also very good. First visit and when going trough Dorset again, it will be a stopMore

Very disappointing for my friend-they did not do omelets -were out of sausage, pastries too dense, ... Coffee :excellent for both of us I ordered one egg and a croissant and ham: long wait, was cold when it was brought to me; the ham was...awful-dried and cold. Not a very friendly atmosphere. No doubt under staffed. We were glad to be outside though.More

We were staying in Manchester Village and came here for breakfast. There's a wonderful selection of pastries, breakfast sandwiches, coffees, etc., in a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Staff were very nice. A great stop if you're in the area.

PHENOMENAL! Everything is good – you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items regardless of the meal. The homemade soups and take out pizza are particularly good. Overall, probably the best food in the area.

Stopped in for a quick pastry and espresso. Unfortunately do to covid, things take a bit longer. The staff was doing their best managing the number of customers and trying to get people their morning buzz.

Expensive over rated bakery worst croissants I think I had. Bought four (outrageous price) all different sizes and shapes and I disposed of them. Local landmark but I have been told baker turnover. You might catch it on a good day. Will maybe try again.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We did experience a period of turnover, but feel that our croissants are now better than ever. Should you decide to give us another try, please mention this review for a coffee of us.

Friendly Staff, extensive variety of baked goods, but the food was very expensive and just so-so. Maybe I’ve lost touch, but nearly $40 for a salad, a sandwich, a scone, and two bottles of water was absolutely not what we expected. The roast beef sandwich...had perhaps two tablespoons total of beef. No chips, just the sandwich. The salad was delicious and well prepared. The place was very clean and the tables were comfortable. We did not dislike the place, but feel no reason to return.More

My first impression when I walked in here was calm. Bright eating area (indoors and outdoors), very charming, simply decorated, homey. The staff was darling. All the baked goods are made in-house. I also got an autumnal salad which was great, and an almond milk...cappucino, both of which were delicious. There were gluten free and dairy free options available for lunch.More

So many choices of all my favorites for lunch. Ate the Vermont BLT. It was amazing. Such a nice day. I ate out on the patio in the sun; it was delightful. Looking forward to next time.
