Stone soup has a wonderful buffet of vegetarian/gluten free a vegan options. Lots of variety and it's all healthy and tasty. They also have sandwiches soup and sweets:) My favorite lunch spot to visit solo. It's quick if you don't have a long lunch break.

Today I had the pleasure of eating at Stone Soup. It's eclectic décor was enhanced by the fresh and well prepared food. There was lots of action in the kitchen where people were preparing REAL Food, not some pre-prepared crap like so many other restaurants. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and well made. Highly recommend this place and I... More

This was a great little stop for vegetarians or vegans. It had way more variety than your typical stop, which often just offer s veggie burger. This restaurant had soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. I tried the seitan ruben sandwich and it was really flavorful and something a bit different than what I used all can get, which I enjoyed.... More

Spent a day in Burlington, stopped here for lunch. A charming & funky eatery. We eat mostly vegetarian when out, & they had lots of choices. We both had seitan sandwiches that were sort of like reubens, with cheese & dressing. They were very tasty but we found them quite salty. My husband said the men's room was dirty although... More

Had lunch here with my husband. We had wanted to try it out. The salad bar had interesting options that were tasty. The atmosphere was college town-ish which I like. However, I gave it an average rating primarily because it was overpriced - much more than I expected a self-serve lunch to be. The bill for two of us for... More

I have heard great things about Stone Soup on College Street in Burlington. It's an eclectic place with open seating, a cold bar (salad) and a hot bar (prepared foods), as well as a menu with sandwiches and soups. There are also amazing desserts. Expect to find unusual entrees such as vegan, vegetarian, cultural cuisines, and everything fresh an a... More

Lovely place with great relaxed atmosphere. They serve a buffet style dinner with delightfull veggie food. One of the few places in the US where I didn't veel like eating cheesy, fatty or salty food. Real tastes, real food. Wonderfull. Please go here when visiting Burlington!

We were walking around town looking for a place to eat and stopped here. There are a lot of options to choose from and vegetarian friendly. There's also a food bar where you can choose what to eat and they weigh it. I ordered the tofu sandwich and it was AWESOME. The sandwich was big and had a good sauce.... More

I can't believe that we hadn't discovered this spot earlier. We liked that there were many many choices, from delicious vegetarian dishes and a sale bar for me to thick hamburgers for my carnivorous husband. There isn't a great deal of seating upstairs, but it's adequate, and the system of ordering at the counter, then waiting to be served was... More
