We came back to Burlington for a leisurely autumn visit, and made sure to stop by Penny Cluse. They do a fantastic job with breakfast: super fresh, quality ingredients, prepared with great care. Just delicious!

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here on Saturday! We got here 1/2 hour before it opened and there was a line already, they were very efficient and handled all the seating in a very timely manner. The wait staff was fantastic and very friendly The Huevos Verdes which my daughter and I both ordered was delicious and... More

Ate here for breakfast and for lunch enjoyed both. Roussilon was our waiter and he was hilarious. He's worth going back to see alone.

I have rarely been able to walk right in and get a table because Penny Cluse is so popular. There is a reason for this because the food and ambiance are great. This is no problem if you aren't in a hurry or have small children who cannot hang around a line for 30-45 minutes. Joe Biden got a table... More

A time to decompress. Walking through Burlington on a fall day with family and my wife was wonderful. Strolling through the walkways by Lake Champlain; watching the ferries, boats and birds go by. A wonderful little eatery, had a bit of wait but so worth the wait. The staff are great. Atmosphere is like eating at Gram's. Home cookin' is... More

We were visiting Burlington and stopped here for breakfast. This restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. My husband ordered eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and bread. I ordered eggs, bacon and sour dough French toast. Everything was delicious. The bacon served was thick bacon-4 slices! We actually could have shared one breakfast. The bread portions of both our meals were... More

We went here for lunch and the food was awesome! I don't think I have had such a great lunch like this in years! We had the Old-Style Turkey Sandwich and the Orb Weaver Vermont Farmhouse Cheese Sandwich with turkey. So good! Look at the pictures!

Worth the wait on a Sunday morning. Fresh food and ingredients. Diverse menu. Good quantity. Fair prices. Cute environment. I would go here again....not surprised it's #2 in Burlington.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I definitely would. This place is must when visiting Burlington Vermont. The Corned Beef Hash Special is simply amazing! The customer service, superb!
