We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant during peak tourist season. Food was good: oysters, lobster, and clam chowder. Service was friendly and efficient. Get there early evening to watch the sun fade over the lake. Prices also were good for the quality offered.

Came here for lunch while visiting friends in Vermont. Sat inside and had a lovely view of the harbor, Lake Champlain and the mountains in NY State. For lunch we had: Fish and chips: the fish was cooked very well and seasoned nicely. The chips...were curly fries that could have been a little crisper (personal taste) but were good nonetheless. Caesar salad with chicken: salad was very well dressed and the chicken was flavorful. Shrimp Scampi: tasty sauce and shrimp! Pasta was cooked well. Kudos to our waitstaff, Zoey and Tom (who was in training). Both were friendly with good senses of humor who got all our meals correct as ordered and got the meals out timely. Nice place to go for a very good meal!More

Start by saying I am not a seafood person. I had an amazing Chicken Parmigiana. This is the first time I have ordered this and it was better than my local old style Italian restaurant. The service was great. One odd note - we were...a party of 5 and had to split up to be seated.More

Fast, attentive and friendly service. Small but varied menu. My lobster bisque was perfect with a rich creamy base and lots of lobster. Boston baked scallops were perfectly cooked with tasty zucchini and delicious slaw. We were very impressed.

This is a causal place with great service and a nice atmosphere overlooking the lake. The food was average. The Boston baked scallops were extremely dry.

My wife and I went here twice during our vacation. Our first time was our 45th anniversary and we had a wonderful time and meal. We sat on their outdoor deck and had a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains. Our drinks were...very good. I had the shrimp scampi which was very enjoyable. My wife had their Boston sea scallops which she thought were delicious. We also got two deserts to take home, key lime pie and cheesecake, both of which were very good. Tonight, on our last night before returning home, we returned again. Temperatures had chilled off significantly so my wife wanted to stay inside rather than eat on their deck. They gave us a beautiful table on their upper level with a window looking out over the lakes and mountains. My wife had honey maple glazed salmon with rice and veggies and thought it was really good. I had their broiled seafood platter of haddock, jumbo shrimp, and scallops and it was really very good. Our drinks were very good as well. The host and the servers were very good and attentive on both occasions. On both occasions we had their wonderful oysters on the half shell. Both nights they featured Blue Points from Long Island, and Malpeque oysters from Prince Edward Island in Canada. They were really delicious and well worth the $3 a piece charge. We love raw oysters and it is a definitely something that makes various places attractive to us for dinner. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return in the future if back in the area. Our return is likely as we both have fallen in love with this area around the lake and mountains.More

The food was awfuI and nothing to be desired. i had the broiled haddock. First off it was in a dish with so much melted butter and was way too much lemon juice over powering the butter. You got rice with the meal and it...taste like Uncle Bens microwave rice and looked it. You got no salad, bread or vegetable with the meal. So over priced. Thank God i enjoyed my company and the glass of wine.More

Wait staff quite busy, did their best. The food was a disaster. Zucchini veggies drowned in garlic. Whole lobster for 2 was undercooked, tough and maybe not fresh. Lobster bisque was really fishy. Clam chowder was definitely good. Talked to other diners who had issues...with food. Menu a tad limited. It is very crowded and there is a good view. Don’t go there.More

With the exception of the clam chowder, which was terrific, we were underwhelmed by the food. Shrimp scampi was a mixed bag, with delicious shrimp (grilled?) but nondescript sauce and bitter tomatoes. The best part of the fried dinner was the shrimp; overall there was...a lot of breading. A casual atmosphere and friendly staff, but not special experience.More
