I don't understand the uneven reviews for this restaurant. Setting is clean and cozy. Got a reservation thru Open Table effortlessly. Mai Tai top shelf. Dumplings thin skinned with memorable filling and dipping sauce. Main dishes, especially the duck special, were out of this world! Could not ask for a better experience.

we have eaten there 6-7 times & had take out twice..it always disappoints us. We love good Chinese food, Burlington need good Chinese food. Not from this restaurant! items vary by day & by cook? some too salty & some too overdone? Not consistent in any way.

Be sure to get a reservation if you are eating here in the summer - as it always packs out at dinner time. A great selection of traditional and creative asian foods.

We had the chef's tasting which allowed us to try some dishes we wouldn't have. There were at least 8 different dishes including appetizer and dessert for $38 a person.

Have been there multiple times. Always tasty, many options and one of the best places to have high quality chinese food in the area. We had the "tasting menu", plate after plate with different tastes. It is a bit on the pricey side but worth it

One of our fav places to take visitors. The family style serving makes fo a nice intimate meal. The food is consistently good with many many choices, meat or meatless.

I’ve been eating at A Single Pebble since it first moved from Barre to Burlington over 15 years ago. I’m surprised by the mixed reviews because the restaurant is one of my favorites in Burlington and always evokes excellent reviews from my out-of-town visitors – even those from large metropolitan areas. It may be a matter of setting your expectations.... More

A friend had told me about this restaurant when she knew I was coming up here. We didn't make an early reservation, so we were seated at one of the walk-in tables-in this case at the bar. No problem, though. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the food excellent. My husband and I shared dumplings, another small dish, and... More

This well rated Burlington upscale Chinese restaurant is a fairly typical American-style place. Sauces are predominantly salty with too much soy sauce, over-thickened with corn starch, and generally under-flavored. I made the mistake of ordering two specials. The sweet potato curry dumplings were deep fried and burned, such that it was impossible to eat them or even bite through the... More

Had chefs tasting for four people, found dishes tasted similar, most dishes were excessively salty. Way too much food was delivered to the table. Overall experience kind of reminded us of a Chinese buffet except delivered to the table.
