This was the first "food truck" before that became the popular thing to do. All the food is delicious, the only thing I worry about is the cleanliness.

From my first visit to Vermont with my wife to her home state, she's always wanted (and still does) to go to Beansie's Bus at Battery Park. She's told me stories how her dad walked her there from their home and held her hand as...More

I can't pass up any kind of eatery that's been in operation since 1941 like Beansie's. My daughter's great, great aunt used to work there in the 1950s :o) Very inexpensive grill food. We had Michigans (chili dogs) which hit the spot. LOVE the fries.

We had a combination of the usual fried offerings, all served quickly and cheerfully. The fries were great, but the Vermonter dessert (maple doughnut with vanilla soft serve) was the highlight of a four day trip filled with good food.

This place has been there longer than I've been alive. I've been hitting this place for almost 50 years. Hands down, the best French fries ever! The cheese burgers and hot dogs are also excellent, but don't let your cardiologist know you eat here. Once...More

I like it but I try to limit my intake for health reasons. The food is great if you like homemade style greasy fast food like you get at a snack bar. They have the best fries around! The bus sits next to a beautiful...More

I feel like a scrooge because everyone always raves about Beansie's, but my experience was that for a food truck it was pretty par for the course. It took longer than I thought it would to get the food and although it was reasonably priced,...More
