My guy and I were stranded in Burlington thanks to a storm. Deciding to make the best of it, we struck out for good food and a place to spend the night. We ended up at Duino Duende and had the mussels, the Cuban, a...plate of veggies and dips, and an order of Poutinis. Yes...it was more than we could eat, but every single thing was amazing and well prepared. Nothing was over seasoned or over the top in any direction- all well balanced dishes. We ate outside in the lovely early evening and could have made an evening of it as establishments on both sides were gearing up with musical offerings (and all three are somehow connected). Alas, we were too tired from our travel escapades. My guy had the amazing lemonade to drink- so fresh and not too sweet, and I enjoyed a glass of Tempranillo.More

A friend suggested this place for food and music while in Burlington, and we happened to be right down the block at a vintage clothing store, so it was a great location, which was the first positive. We ended up following the band inside (they...were wonderful), and we had a sweet server and delicious food. The fries were the greatest and I didn't want to stop eating them. There is a lot of variety on the food, so I had tacos while my friend had curry. The tacos were great, and so was the rice that came with them. It's truly the little things. We also had the baklava, which I didn't get a chai flavor from like the menu said, but it was still really good and the perfect way to end the meal.More

I got the Jamaican Burger special and it was amazing! The plantain chips were the perfect compliment. This special really makes Duino Duende stand out from the other burger specials going on in Burlington right now. Do yourself a favor and get it. Jah mon!!

Actually saw a video on youtube of locust slice tables being made for the place, which prompted me to check it out when in town. This is actually 3 places in one - night club, restaurant and bar, next to each other and connected. Food...is eclectic, but very tasty and there should be something for everyone. We tried the Korean wings, volcano fries, pupusas and chicken & waffles. Everything was great - some really good flavors happening here. Near as I can tell, dinner only except a brunch on weekends.More

Duino Duende is my favorite local spot to eat and hang out at in Burlington! The variety has something for everyone! I'm not a vegetarian but I still order the veggie burger because it's THAT GOOD! It's great for a late-night snack or an early...date night. The staff is attentive and service is quick. You're missing out if you don't try Duino. I also love how it's sandwiched between two quaint music venues.More

What a phenomenal experience! Such a hip, funky interior with the staff to match. Everyone was so friendly and attentive- the food was so fresh and filling with TONS of vegetarian options for me to choose from while not limiting my partner in his dinner...selection.... it was so good we can't wait to explore their brunch menu soon too! Cocktail specials were the perfect accompaniment (the names alone are worth ordering~ Herb Your Enthusiasm!) to this relaxing, ambient meal and it's totally worth popping into one of the bars on either side for a song or two from whatever artist is playing- the decor in every room is worth the trip alone!More

Also, their brunch is amazzzzing! Be sure to check out the music playing...in Radio Bean/Light Club Lamp Shop before or after your meals. I promise you won't regret making Duino a part of your day/night! LOVE.More

This is a cozy spot with quick service and creative dishes. Just about everything on the menu can be made vegan or gluten-free. I ordered the falafel to be made vegan (subbed tzatziki with vegan chipotle aoili per the severs suggestion) . It came out...just as ordered and was fantastic. A great spot for both meat-eaters and vegetarians/vegan alike.More

Duino Duende is squished between two other funky places, one of them the Radio Bean Coffeehouse. The menu features international street food fare, such as falafel and papusas, as well as great french and sweet potatoe fries. The place has great waitstaff and the food...is great. Again, it's funky and you have to appreciate it for what it is.More

What's not to love? A zillion options--international menu, vegan and veg options, outstanding Ethiopian food on Tuesday nights, baller brunch, helpful service, relaxed bohemian vibe, good people watching in the restaurant and on the street.
