This is a charming restaurant with authentic Moroccan cuisine. Our family celebrated at their Sultan’s table with a gorgeous salad and roast lamb and vegetables. Delicious dinner and seamless service. We felt like honored guests. Highly recommend!!

The food is so good! We loved the appetizers, chicken terrine and seafood couscous. The Moroccan French fries were also tasty. Great value and great service! A must in Burlington, VT!
The Moroccan food was delicious. Like many ethnic restaurants in Vermont, they probably struggle to attract enough people who want that type of food, which may explain why we were the only patrons on the Thursday evening we were there.BYOB rules and charges are unclear,...possibly even to waitstaff. We paid three charges for “corkage” on the three beers that we brought: $3.00, $2.00, and $2.00. This makes no sense, but we paid it without noticing until we got home and looked at the receipt.More
We had Taste of Morocco, Seafood Tagine, Chicken Tagine and Truffle Fries. They all were wonderful and filling. The staff was especially friendly and accommodating. We WILL return.
Excellent meal. All family members were extremely happy with their dinners. Food and service were great. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Burlington.
Based on other reviews we decided to try this restaurant out, and we were not disappointed. We had the Taste of Morocco Platter- perfectly balanced flavors that left us wanting to lick the plates, lol. My husband and I shared a lamb shank tagine and...the vegetarian couscous. The lamb was butter soft and flavourful. The couscous was the perfect accompaniment. Unfortunately they were sold out of desserts. The owner was lovely and friendly. Covid has been tough for them, I hope you will consider dining here. The entrees range in price from 16 to 26$.More
We were delighted by the tastes and aromas of the food that we were served. We are vegetarians and were were provided with a delicious veggie meal. We had the appetizer platter and shared a main veggie dish. The service was excellent and the decorations...and atmosphere was terrific.More
Came here for dinner with another couple. Love that it's BYOB and we had the BEST hummus I've ever had, not to mention the eggplant dip. Also the broth in the lamb tagine was delicious. Definitely give this new gem a try! Nice to have...a new ethnic restaurant here.More
The Little Moroccan Cafe in the Old North End of Burlington serves authentic North African food. We had the Taste of Morocco platter, which included different types of vegetarian hummus, chakchouka, zaalouk (kind of like flavored hummus dishes), the vegetarian Tagine stew, and mint tea....The prices were a bit higher than we expected for the Old North End, though they were similar to Church Street prices. The owner went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our made to order, not fast food, dishes. If we had a desire for a "Middle Eastern" style meal, we'd consider the Little Morocco Cafe again!More
We stopped for a birthday dinner on a Sunday dinner at 5 pm. Had the “taste of Morocco” appetizer, and chicken kebab, and lamb tangine for main courses. Both were outstanding. The tangine does not come with and veggies and the chicken version had another...45 minute till an hour to slow-cook. The kebab came with saffron rice, salad and French fries, all on the same plate. Price was a bit high but the portions, along with the appetizer were adequate for two hungry people.More
Excellent dining experience! Incredibly friendly service. The seafood tangine was delicious. The Saffron rice was superb. An amazing meal. I will bring all of my friends and out of town guests to impress!
Great authentic Moroccan food in a pleasant setting. I had seafood tangine, served with tasty vegetables and well prepared rice. My husband had lamb tangine. The lamb was delicious. You can bring your own wine. There is a cork fee.
The meals are delicious. I love the appetizer platter and kababs. Wr could taste fresh spices of all food. We tried the orange smoothie. It was very good too!
Delicious, authentic Moroccan/Middle Eastern cuisine in a comfortable setting. Went with a friend for lunch, I had the lentil soup as an app with the kefte/meatballs in an aromatic, delicate spice sauce with saffron rice, cooked perfectly. My friend had the salad followed by the...chicken kebabs and said they were very tasty. I can't wait to go back and try all the delicious sounding dishes on the menu, particularly the lamb.More
