Beautiful view!! Fish tacos were great! Service was excellent! Just a great place for sunset dinner. We drank the White House wine and it was pretty darn good!

I had lunch there on a beautiful summer day. I'd never been to the area before so it was nice to sit outside and eat. The service was great and our server was friendly. The food was good. I'm a vegetarian and they had a...decent selection of items for me. I had the hummus plate w/veggies and I thought it could have used a bit more food. I didn't eat my baby carrots because they looked dried out (white exterior). My friends had the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, Lobster Cobb Salad, and Pulled Pork Taco. All enjoyed their food.More

A stop at Splash is always on our to-do list when we get to Burlington. It has a beach vibe right at the water where so much is happening. Boats, Yachts, Ferries, all going by or tying up to come ashore.

Located on Lake Champlain, the views are amazing. Service is excellent, Sarah was outstanding. Food is fresh and well prepared and there was no problem substituting sweet potato fries for regular. Clam chowder was large and tasty. Fish and chips excellent. Salads were well made...and fresh. View cannot be beat. We will definitely be back.More

I will start with SPIDERS. Service was canceled for our party and many others as there were numerous spiders around the service areas and over the seating locations throughout. I was attending a conference of 70+ attendees who wanted to experience the Burlington waterfront. After...the spider incident, the bartender and staff offered a promise of staying open late upon our return from an evening dinner cruise on the Ethan Allen, which was exceptionally great. Review to follow... We encouraged others to return to Splash with us. Upon returning, service was denied to mainly the entire group. The management did not keep their word for 70+ patrons where the only positive on this location was the view. The majority of the group went to DRINK, which also provided our group with a stellar experience, NO SPIDERS AND AMAZING SERVICE. To be reviewed as well. Sorry SPLASH, sad experience overall, mediocre food, with the view and the bar mirror being the highlight.More

Absolutely dreadful. We were someone else's guests, or we would have walked out. My teenage daughter is newly vegetarian, which made most of the menu off-limits to her. That's fine, and she's getting used to navigating that — however, while she does like plant-based meat...like Beyond Burger, she doesn't like veggie burgers (grains+veggies in a burger shape). No matter how much we told the server that, she simply refused to understand. "Well, all I can say is, people tell me it's the best veggie burger they've ever had." So what? The best [X] doesn't taste good to people who don't like [X]. There was a cheese quesadilla on the children's menu, but the server refused to let us order it, saying that the chef would be furious with her. Everything we asked, the chef would be furious with. No substitutions, no making one of the other dishes without the meat, no kids' menu, nothing. I made an admittedly salty comment about the chef needing to relax and the server delivered a stern lecture (!!) about how the chef is in the kitchen 12 hours a day 7 days a week, as though that's somehow my problem. So my kid should go hungry because the chef can't be bothered to, you know, cook something she absolutely has in the kitchen and would make if my daughter were 4 years younger? In the end she had some french fries and the worst brownie sundae ever (TINY store-bought brownie, about 1/4 cup soft-serve ice cream, and that was it). They did relax enough to let her have chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla, so I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. They also served drinks in 6 oz plastic cups, which meant we were constantly asking for refills, and it was abundantly clear that this was also very inconvenient. My fish and chips was objectively very good, but I didn't really enjoy it. I'm not one to say the customer is always right, but I do think a restaurant ought to exhibit at least a *slight* interest in feeding a hungry customer something they might like to eat. We traveled across three states in a week and ate out for every meal; this was the worst experience we had, hands-down.More

This was an impromptu stop for us walking around the waterfront. Sitting there felt like vacation and it had a stunning ambiance right on the lake. We only did drinks so no comments about the food, but the drinks were good and the bartender was...super friendly. Definitely worth taking a pause here!More

There was a long line to get in at opening and we could see why. Most of the seating was on the patio overlooking the lake. With mountains across the lake, it was beautiful. The menu was limited and the food was just okay. My...husband got the fish and chips. It was just okay, not great. Ditto for the fries. I had the coconut shrimp - tasty but not delicious. The salad was disappointing. Suggest you come here for a drink by the lake and eat somewhere else.More

My wife and I had just arrived in Williston, Vermont and drove five miles to Lake Champlain's shore in Burlington for a late lunch (also serving as our dinner). We had heard about this place from Tripadvisor and it turned out to be a good...choice. We were seated right on the deck of a floating dock on the lake. My wife had a salad with their coconut shrimp and loved it. I had a chicken salad wrap and it was very good. Our drinks were also very good, and we really enjoyed just sitting in the nice weather next to the lake. My own opinion is that this place is better for a lunch or a light dinner than it is for a more substantive dinner. One other drawback is the parking on the waterfront. You have to pay and the lots frequently are filled. We found a place on the street where you had to download an app on your smartphone to pay for an allotted amount of time. It was only $2.80 for two and a half hours, but it still is somewhat of a minor hassle.More

The view was exceptional! Fish and chips were great, the fries could have been hotter but that didn’t ruin our experience. There are plenty of tables and lots of people to make you feel comfy!

We dined here one night and liked it. It was quite busy, and that is always a good sign. I finally got a good veggie burger. It was filling and I had mashers on the side. My wife had the fish and chips and she...liked it. She also had opted for mashers instead of fries. The waitress was good and helped us pick good beers to drink with it. Thisis a good place to go to to be near the shore.More

We came down to the waterfront to find some place for dinner. This was the first place we saw and decided to try it out. So glad we did. Large variety of seafood with the lobster coming from my state, large selection of alcohol and...is right on the water. We eat on the deck on the shore and were able to watch beyond come to the restaurants docks on their boats and watch the sunset over the lake. Splash at the boathouse was definitely a highlight of the trip!More

We went early for lunch and sat right by the water at a table. Excellent view, great drinks, so-so food. Server was excellent and food came out fast. Recommend a reservation for dinner. If you aren’t ordering food you will be told you can only...sit in the bar area which does not have a great view.More
