My wife and stayed here on an inn-to-inn biking trip. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and good humor and cheer. It is a family-run operation, and Linda, Doug and their daughters were clearly invested in making sure every guest was taken care of. The room was clean, comfortable and amply sized, and Doug is not... More

Friendly and thoughtful proprietors provided outstanding meals. Sufficiently varied menu, graciously presented plates of locally produced deliciously prepared food. No wonder the chef is a 'slow cook' awardee! Very highly recommended. And, stay for breakfast - to die for scones and jam. Physical plant is in need of attention but - who cares!

What a wonderful Sunday Brunch!!! I joined my friend for her birthday and some of her family and close friends. There were 8 of us, and my first visit. We all arrived separately, were greet warmly, and seated immediately.....when we thought we might have a few more, our lovely server offered to pull another table in....she was SO gracious and... Loved this place. Stayed one night and had dinner in the restaurant and it was top notch. The rib eye was perfectly cooked and everything had great flavor. Watched "Fried Green Tomatoes" in the barn that night with other diners and it was a great feeling. I am from San Diego so we don't have this kind of thing :)... More

The food at this establishment, east of Bristol, VT is consistently exceptional. We, my wife and I, have eaten there several times and on the drive home last evening she opined that she wished it did not take 45 minutes of driving time to get there, as she would be stopping in with more regularity. We were given a gift... More

Headed to Mary's on a slow Thursday to celebrate 2 family birthdays. We got a quiet table right by the fireplace (which was welcome as it was a cold night outside). Everything was wonderful for the service to the food. They created a special non-alcoholic cocktail for our designated driver and suggested a local root beer for our son. Appetizers... More

Haven't eaten here in a few years and wasn't disappointed. We were two couples on a Friday eve when the restaurant was surprisingly not busy. I say "dining experience", because it means more than just the great food. Very friendly greeting and service from all of the wait staff. Cozy, warm atmosphere. Relaxing, not rushed. Our server, Elisa, was exceptional... More

As a project manager, most Thanksgivings are spent somewhere else. This year, it was at the best place imaginable. The buffet was excellent, the service excellent, the ambiance excellent. I couldn't imagine a better experience anywhere else nor have we had one.

We felt welcome here the moment we arrived. The dining area is cozy and comfortable and the service is excellent. The garlic soup is to die for. I could have made a meal out of that. The butter, served with their yummy home-made bread was addictive. The portions weren't huge, and I feared they were overpriced, but I have to... More

Farm to table, locally sourced, combined into thoughtful presentation of amazing foods every time. Call for a reservation but don't worry if you don't have one. You will feel the warmth of their staff from the time you walk in until you leave. Dietary issues are never a problem. Don't cheat your visit by just ordering the entree. Go all... More
