Certificate of Excellence2016 - 2019 Winner
Whetstone Station is the beautiful waterfront home of our brewery, Whetstone Craft Beers. The location offers a large, casual, counter service restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. Offering a simple menu of "inspired pub fare" along with a unique craft beer list with dozens of guest craft beers and specialty drinks. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor self-seating, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.

Fantastic location, food and service! Their menu featured numerous craft beers at fair prices, and many unusual choices to pick from! Loved dinner ON the water!!

We loved the opportunity to drink a beer in two states at once. The outside deck was so peaceful, had heat lamps for when it gets chilly, and provided a great view of the river. We didn't check out the rooftop biergarten. The staff was...More

The food was bad. Girlfriends mac and cheese was cold but, decent. My meatloaf sandwich was still cold. Like it was frozen 5 minutes before they put it in the microwave and served it to me. Seriously, not even a couple flips on the flat...More

We had lunch here on recommendation of my niece. The wait was moderate, about 20 to 30 minutes at mid lunch service. Not bad for a popular eatery. The beer choices were abundant and satisfied the wants and desires of our party. Not being a...More

Sit out on the patio overlooking the Connecticut river and have some great food and beer. It’s a very pretty place to relax and have some good craft beer. My wife and I really enjoy this place.

Whetstone Station Brewery is on the Connecticut River that separates New Hampshire and Vermont. We tried the Bumpy Ryed (my favorite), I’m Down, Red Ale, and Midnight Stoner... my husband liked them all. They also have a fun selection of pub food.

Very easy! Just get off exit 1, turn right and continue straight until you reach the traffic light downtown (about 2 miles). Whetstone is right on the water, at the bridge to NH. There’s a parking lot on either side of the... More

Due to VT law, if an animal (not used for service) needs to walk through an establishment it is not permitted inside. To get to the deck you would have to walk through the restaurant. Sorry

While Whetstone does not take advance reservations, they do offer “call ahead seating” and / or you can get on any wait list directly through the Yelp app as well.
