As others have mentioned, Thursday night is International night at the New England House. Culinary destinations have included Turkey, Sweden, India, Germany, France, Italy and even Ireland. Where else in town can you get Osso Buco, Escargot, Schnitzel or Flammkuchen? To be fair, the regular menu has something for every taste too. Added to this is the locally sourced meat... More

What better place to enjoy a wonderful dinner with the hubby, celebrating Love, great food and friendships. We went for Valentine's Day dinner last night and had the duck confit salad and smoked salmon and avocado appetizers. For our main courses my husband enjoyed a perfectly cooked peppered venison filet with root vegetables and I enjoyed one of my favorites:... More

We met friends here for dinner. It's a tavern style restaurant with lots of made-on- the-premises items that are delicious; baked goods even down to the croutons on the salads! The menu is extensive including appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches/burgers, and main dishes. Our server Sarah was really excellent--so knowledgeable about the menu items and good with recommendations. There's a full... More

This was a cozy family run establishment until recently.Fireplaces and woodstoves stoked in the winter, porch dining in the summer months. We held our own family celebrations there, and took our guests as well. Sadly, no more. After the Kerber clan retired, the food became much more expensive, and of a much lesser quality and quantity. We won't be going back.

Thursday evenings are International night at the NEH. This past week was India, selections from apps to desserts were excellent, and tasty. We all enjoyed our choices. We specially like sitting in the smaller bar dining room. It's a warm cozy friendly place.

My partner and I sat at the bar on New Years Eve and asked the bartender to make us a drink we had never had before. It was as delicious as it was inventive. A great way to start the New Year.

There with a large group. Service was slow, German food looked good but Seafood and steak offerings were horrid! Mussels undercooked, filet cooked poorly, sauce on pasta was canned. $20 per plate++

We went here for dinner on Christmas Eve 2016 and found it to be a wonderful experience. Great food, great service, and plenty of parking. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere conducive to families and couples. Very highly recommended. The meals were excellent and so was the service.

We live nearby so come often. On Thursday nights there is a menu from other countries. These meals are really special!
