We met friends here for a nice leisurely dinner. We were seated at a table that was socially distanced from other tables so we felt comfortable. Our server, although quite busy, was attentive and friendly. She didn't rush us, which was nice. There are no...specials per se but our server said the menu changes most nights depending on what they have. Our food arrived in good time and was delicious and plentiful. The chocolate mousse for dessert was a nice treat as well! We were allowed to linger and enjoy our time there. There is plenty of free parking. We've been here before and will definitely come back again.More

Due to a bus tour, this was our designated lunch stop. The outside looks old, run down and in need of attention. There were only 2 servers to serve our crew. They eventually became behind schedule. We were served a slice a bread and a...pat of butter for each person. More upon request. The squash soup was very good. Enjoyable. We had the pot roast meal and a squash ravioli dish. Everyone enjoyed their pot roast. It was very tender. The ravioli unfortunately was dried and had ore filler than squash. Filler? Not sure. Chef husband even asked and the response was squash puree. Hmmm. Dessert was gummy. This preset menu sounds great, but not so much.More

Just came back from a three day bus trip to Vermont and we had an amazing meal. The squash soup was to die for and the Yankee Pot Roast was superb! The place was clean and the service was exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant...to everyone and would hope to return if I’m in the area!More

we had a pleasant dinner here last night. there are some interesting items on the menu (e.g.- Ricotta & Vegetable Gnocchi with summer veggies). the presentation of the food was a bit fancier than expected and everything we had (the gnocchi and the salmon) was...very tasty.More

We have been driving by here for years. But this time, we decided to try someplace new. And we are VERY happy we did! The seating was quick, and we did not feel rushed. Our server, Josh, set an example that ALL servers, ANYWHERE, would...benefit from.....................great job, Josh! We had the flat iron steak and the half rack of ribs, and they were great. I had never had chimichurri sauce before, and am very happy to have found such a delightful addition to ma tasty steak. We don't live far away from here, so we WILL be back...........................service, food, price, and Josh (!), were fantastic!More

The lentil soup, goat cheese & beet salad, and salmon were all top notch. The service was equal to the task. We would surely eat here again if in the area.

Drive on past. It's not worth the stop. There were only two other tables in the entire restaurant , but it still took almost an hour to get a burger and a cup of chowder ! The chowder was homemade , but was so full...of sand, I couldn't eat it. It cost eighteen dollars , and we still had to find somthing to eat once we left. I must say the wait tress was friendly thoughMore

We had a small party of 10 that was nicely accommodated by the wait staff. The food was average. My Cesar salad was simple and the clam chowder was a average. The mussels looked great and satisfied my niece nicely. A longstanding eatery of the...area that my nieces dined at with their father over the years met our needs.More

Had dinner here mid-week, while travelling on business. The food was quite acceptable, prices decent, and the service was prompt and friendly. Ambience was also nice. Would recommend, and will try it again when I'm in that area again.

Two of my sons arranged a special birthday dinner for me on Friday, 1/10/20, at this lovely restaurant. There were 8 of us and our waitress was attentive and on the spot. We all had something different, including my 8-year-old granddaughter, and all the meals...were excellent. Except for my oldest son and his fiancee, none of us had been there before but we all can't wait to go back! My Elizabeth is still talking about the chocolate mousse she had for dessert!! Thank you for a very special night!More

A group of us stopped off after the ample pie festival. We had a group of about 12 and called ahead. Good service, separate checks were not a problem and the food was good too.

The atmosphere is straight out of the 60's and 70's with a few updates. The food was ok, the service was fine. Everything was fine. I think the menu may be overpriced by $3-$5 for the entrees and apps.

I made a reservation for 8-10 people 5 days in advance for my husband's retirement dinner and went there on Saturday morning to request seating conducive for conversation-no table of any kind was set up for us when we arrived at 5:30. That was the...beginning of a disastrous evening. Our waitress was harried and inattentive-we had to go get her to come back to our table to get service and to bring the bill, the food was certainly not worth the money-$18 cold steak tips, overdone $26 rib eye - asked for medium rare and got medium well, inedible tavern burger - so gray and hard could not eat it. $22 scallops that were overcooked -dark brown and tough, and tasteless $18 rock crab cakes, etc. Only one dinner out of 10 was good! Our bill was over $250.00! Needless to say - cannot recommend or nor will we ever go back! Three generations of family lost to their business!More

Went to celebrate my father’s retirement...rude hostess, painstakingly slow service, snippy server, lukewarm mediocre (at best) food. Sent burger back as it was ordered medium and came out well done. Steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium-well. Crab cakes were all cake and...little crab; aioli was inedible. Mashed potatoes were a solid lump of flavorless glue. Highly disappointed.
