Stopped by for a dinner on a weekday on our trip to Vermont and we ended up having the best meal of our trip! The menu had some really interesting and well thought-out options that were nicely seasonal in nature. We choose well, and left full (good portion size!) and satisfied. You have to be a little patient for the... More

Few options for dining in Brandon centre, and this was recommended by our hosts. They were able to accommodate us without a reservation. We had a lovely cocktail ($7-8) in the bar whilst waiting for our table. Bar staff and servers extremely friendly. Air con rather cold. Delicious food, especially seafood stew.

A bit tricky to find the entrance, but a nice relaxing atmosphere right off the main drag through town. We arrived before the crowd, but the waitstaff was very friendly and quick with the service, but not at all bothersome. Our soups were great as well as the meals. My only suggestion is a few more dishes that do not... More

This was my first visit to Cafe Provence. I'd always heard great things about this place and was not disappointed. The tomato pie was a great appetizer to share. The fish and chips was awesome - crispy with just the right amount of breeding. We shared a dessert sampler - perfect to share and try a variety. Great meal!

We were in town for a family reunion & had heard about the restaurant so decided to try it for brunch before heading home. We were so lucky to get seat since we hadn't made a reservation. It was 1hr. wait without res. but there were 2 seats open at the counter which were available, took them. My eggs benedict... More

Our family knows my wife and I plan way in advance! So, they were not surprised when after a VT visit we knew we had found the place for our son's graduation party. The food is exquisite. Family and friends came from far away so the setting and meal had to be perfect for celebrating this great event. The staff... More

my wife found this place last year, and we've now been back 3 times while visiting a son in middlebury. Very good food, a little rich for my liking but then again, it is French.

Chef Robert knows how to cook! How lucky for brandon to have a nationally renown chef from Montpelier, France. Chef is omnipresent in his restaurant. Service, the food, dessert and coffee are always good, but we are tired of the menu. So if you haven't been here or don't come often, it's just a very good place to eat with... More
