Always had great food and service. Mostly lunch and dinner. I think they have breakfast of weekends. My favorite is wing night. $.55 wings every Wednesday all day. Plus awesome soft-serve ice cream.

The meals at Cattails are good, the prices are reasonable, and the selections will sometimes surprise you. The service is good. All in all, a good experience. And they even have creamies in the summer.

This place is very popular with the locals for many reasons. The menu is interesting and varied, all the way from burgers to casual meals to entrees. It is cozy with booths and a big screened porch for warm weather dining. The attached creemee stand has lots of fans.

Nice little place just off highway on Route 7 north of Brandon. Had lunch one day and dinner the next evening here. Both meals were nice sized portions. Had the philly steak and cheese fries for lunch, it was more than I could eat! Had fish the next meal, which was also good.

As stated above ! Chef selects his own produce, grows his own herbs, et cetera. Everything I have had there in the past 2+ years has been terrific ! :)

If you're looking for excellent, upscale food, but don't want to spend a ton of money (see Middlebury), or don't want to venture to a national chain (see Rutland), Cattails is the place to go. It's located about half-way between the two towns, so it's convenient to both. Until about a year ago, when we lived nearby, we would eat... More

There are lots of options here for dinner and appreciate that they modify the salad I like to make it even better. This is a great place for an informal but tasty dinner.

We stayed at a local B&B and were looking for a reasonable place for dinner. The prices here ranged considerably which was great because we felt like we had choices! I ended up having the fish and chips special with shrimp and my husband had the buffalo chicken mac 'n cheese. We shared and both entrees were excellent! Especially the... More

Staff is friendly but sometimes spread thin. Food is okay, more akin to comfort food than upscale. Menu offering has good variety and their burgers are great. In the summer, they have an outside window where you can purchase ice cream and other treats.
