My wife and I selected the Salmon Special and were delighted with our selection. The salmon was, I believe, the best salmon I have ever eaten!

We were in VT for a ski weekend and after all the heavy food we were eating at the mountain, we wanted a nice, but casual spot with comforting but healthy options - we found that at Leslie's! The atmosphere feels like you're in someone's cozy home, and it's nice but casual - great for a date and the food... More

Don't come here if you're in a hurry or just looking for something to eat. Each item is painstaking prepared and served elegantly. Take your time, enjoy the food and ambiance. A wonderful way to spend an evening talking over dinner.

We drove 2 hours for a meal at Leslie's! Can I just tell you, this is a true gem of a restaurant. The farmhouse, ambiance, service, and food were outstanding. Each person in my party ordered a different appetizer and meal to share and we all gushed over each item. This is a rare occasion! My favorites were the mushroom... More

I've been eating at Leslie's for the 30 years that John and Leslie Marston have owned and operated it. I plan to keep going until we're all gone. Recent renovations have opened up the main dining room to be more spacious, while retaining the intimate atmosphere. Tables are spaced well apart so you can enjoy a conversation without being overheard... More

I made an appointment sight unseen for fairly late. I was stuck in traffic and called ahead indicating I would be there past normal closing if that was OK. The owner said Yes-they would stay open. I arrived and was warmly greeted. The hostess/wife offered a range of choices and a first rate but inexpensive French Claret. The service was... More

Truly authentic Vermont Inn. Food was extremely fresh and well done. It was extremely busy for a late Thursday evening and the staff was up to the task. We were greeted and seated promptly. Main dining room is warm and a treasure. They were short staffed but waitress was pleasant and tended to our needs.

Happened upon Leslie's Tavern after Movie in Springfield Vermont. Wow. What great relaxing atmosphere this place offers. And the food service and deserts were superb. Leslie is so friendly and service top notch. Congratulations if you choose to dine here. You will be very pleased that you did.
