It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's some tasty, healthier food. And, just to clarify, the "bowls" refer to soups, but they have other menu items and super delish smoothies!

The sign is what caught my attention. The food was delicious. Hot and vegetarian style. It was a convenient stop. I was heading to a near by shop and this caught my eye. When I'm in the area I will definitely stop here again

Smoking Bowls has amazing food. I have tried many of the soups and love them all. Hard to choose my favorite but I guess I'd say the Cheech and Chong Chili wins. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and really enjoyed it. Check out there web site for hours and menu for the day. ENJOY!!

I came across this little place and had to stop and try it! We got New England clam chowder in a mason jar and it was the best I have ever had! I can't wait to go back again! Such a cute and unique idea!

Sign is from an abandoned gas station, Golf i'm guessing and the restaurant is on wheels, But don't drive by if you are hungry! Pulled pork sandwich was large enough for two people with really good cold slaw. There are picnic tables out back or you can eat in your car. Only one person at the counter and I doubt... More

I'll be blunt: It's a roadside shack. I'll be clear: The lobster rolls are OUTSTANDING. Each year we do leaf-peeping, we stop here to get lobster rolls and then go have a picnic somewhere. We have done this several times and plan to do it again next year when we are back. Excellent food. Don't be put off by the... More

Having lived previously in California, our first thought was bowls like El Pollo Loco had: rice, chicken, etc. all in a bowl. Not so! The name is a reference to soup, but we went in the summer so we opted for BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches on pretzel rolls: delicous! We also opted for the $5 Mason jar drinks (one coconut... More

Good eats and convenient for the traveler, but I admit I was expecting a bread bowl filled with soup/chili based on the the name of the shack when I pulled in and was a little bummed out they didn't serve their soups in a bread bowl. Soup is always better in a bread bowl. Still good eats, despite chili served... More

Fresh ingredients, friendly people, Great Soup!!! it basically a little shack on the side of the road, they make everything in another kitchen, and sell it there. The stuff is truly amazing most of the time and the people are so nice. I highly recommend.

One day on a random, solo, day-trip to VT, I found a pamphlet for Smokin' Bowls at the state Welcome Center. It has now been a staple on trips through the area, and even a destination. Every soup I have had is environmentally conscientious and most delicious! I can't even tell you a favorite because they are all so good.... More
