Stopped here or a quick dinner. Everything was blah. The fried rice was tasteless. The boneless spare ribs were dry and had no flavor. In fact, the ribs looked like they were a week old. They are consistent as the staff was as blah as...the food.More

I've had some great General Tao's and my wife a wonderful tofu veggie plate. We also had some very disappointing servings of the same dishes. Once went in to eat and told we could only have take out. Simply not a reliable place to eat.

We went with friends, had a variety of dishes. Atmosphere is well designed, hip artsy, cool. Service is excellent.

This is a small carry out restaurant that offers pretty good Chinese fare--- nothing special, but prepared as ordered in an open kitchen with a flaming wok in evidence. It's a busy spot with lots of menu offerings. Run by hard working folks. Better than...average.More

When I get a itch for Chinese food China Town Restaurant is the way to scratch it. I've been eating here for years and I have yet to be disappointed. Recently I've had to change my diet to avoid cholesterol which means eating more veggies...an Tofu. I asked for General Tso's Tofu, yet it was not on the menu. They whipped it up into the most delicious meal I've had yet in about 20 minutes. Thanks Folks!More

I mostly really like their food, but can't stand their shady pricing. Their online menu says one price, but then they charge at least dollar more for each item when you get rung up. An order for my family should have subtotaled $31 even; instead...it was $35.80. It's like paying more than double the meals tax. Hey Chinatown! Update your online menu if you increase your prices! Otherwise, why even bother to have a website? I also had a bizarre incident with them a few months ago where I purchased a chow mein dish, and they tried to pass off a bag of fried wonton strips as the included "chow mein noodles". (The same wontons that they toss in for free with every order.) They literally argued with me that these were legitimately chow mein noodles and did not understand why I was complaining. They very nearly lost my business permanently over that one, as they were unwilling to admit they were wrong or make any sort of reparation for their mistake. Unfortunately for me, they happen to have the best General Tso's in town, which is a personal weakness. (The other local establishments' renditions don't even come close.) Their lo mein and crab rangoon are also high in my esteem. Ultimately, it is the few key food items that they make better than anyone else in the area, which keep me coming back; Lucky them. I have also had mostly positive interactions with their kind staff in the past. So, I don't mean to portray them in a negative light overall. I know they're trying to run a business and make money, but, pretending wontons are chow mein noodles, and then acting like the *customer* is the crazy one, is no way to retain goodwill. Nor is shady markup assuming that no one will bother speaking up about a couple of dollars per order. There's got to be some law against doing that.More

The food here is usually pretty tasty. It's a bit pricey and they do not offer a buffet. It is more of a take out joint than anything. We usually always order the same menu item here and it's pretty consistent. The last few times...we have ordered from here the pork fried rice was bad. The rice was spoiled and the pork tasted off.More
