This bread is excellent. The rolls soup pizza sandwiches are all top notch. If you get their early you can purchase the red tags at a lower price because they are a day old.

My first visit was with a coworker that wan't something lighter because he was hungry but wasn't feeling very well so he wanted soup. I decided on the chicken tortilla soup and half of a chicken salad sandwich on the honey wheat bread. What a treat!!! The soup was very tasty with a genuine southwestern flavor with a nice heat... When I lived nearby, we would buy our take and bake pizzas here. But it has come a ways since then. Lots of choices for sandwiches, soups and salads. I chose half sandwich and half salad with the hot pastrami sandwich and a Caesar salad. Excellent.

We ate at Village Baker for dinner one night. It was fairly good. I do not eat grain and so I had a salad which was large and flavorful. If you like bread, this is the place.

Although the location on 90th is a bit difficult to get in/out of and has limited parking it is worth every inconvenience. Love the new added seating! My fav is the cranberry turkey, good alllll year round.

There lemon bars are amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is that the 2 times we have ordered cookies they were very hard... More

First of all, come here hungry, because there's A LOT of food in your order. The bread is fresh and homemade, and there's a lot of it! I ordered a sandwich, not knowing the portion size, and I had to take half of it home because it was so big. But the ingredients are fresh, and have great flavor. We... More

I have worked near the Village Baker for over 20 years and stop in almost weekly. Great sandwiches, pizza and the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Cinnamon rolls are very good. Quick and friendly service.
