We heard about this spot while in town in St George from a local, so we had to check it out. We made the drive from the city and it sure was worth it; a gorgeous scenic drive, and also the opportunity to visit a...new town! These home cooked pies were all the rage, and luckily we didn't hit any lines midday on a Wednesday. We tried the mountain berry pie slice.. I only wish we hadn't enjoyed a big lunch beforehand, I would've eaten more! We wanted to take some back to our hotel but given we were spending the afternoon in Snow Canyon we decided to hold off.. till next time!More

We just happened upon this Bakery while we were on a long road/RV camping trip. This seems to be one of those cult following places that people have been stopping at for generations. Cool! We just had to stop then. The line forms outside with...two families allowed inside at a time. The wind was blowing like crazy with dust in your eyes while waiting your turn. People we're exiting the shop with multiple pie boxes stacked in their arms. Being on the road we just bought pieces of banana cream, and strawberry rhubarb. They were good but pretty typical pie. But my favorites were the extra thick cookies (chocolate chip & peanut butter) and apple turnover... Worth a stop if in the area and you're having a sweet tooth.More

If you’re visiting the Saint George area, and you’re looking for a drive through some unique and beautiful landscaping, pay a visit to Veyo Utah. While you’re there, check out Veyo pies and bakery. Home cooked pies and other delectables, with a good variety of...options for anyone. Friendly, Hometown service. Quaint little shop, so don’t overload them. The pies, both fruit and cream pies, were fresh and incredibly tasty! A small family business type, so not everything is available every day. Call ahead of time if you’re hoping for something specific.More

We always cross Veyo pies on "Sunday drives", this time we were in St. George and decided to make the drive out to Veyo and get some pie. I love a good coconut cream pie, but bought the veyo volcano pie instead. It was excellent!!...We loved it. Definitely worth the stop or the special trip outMore

Veyo pies is located just a short trip (18 miles) north of St. George and is DEFINITELY worth the drive. I had the banana cream pie, actually the BEST banana cream pie I've ever had. During these days of Rona, they are only allowing 4...patrons in the bakery at a time, so be aware of this limitation and that you may be waiting. Not all pies are available by the slice at all times, but they do have a good selection. If visiting St. George, this is definitely worth a stop...More

So there were 2 of us and we got 5 slices of different pies to try them out. Here is my review on them (and yes I tried them all). The coconut cream was really good. REALLY good. Better than I have had before. It...would be 5 out of 5 star. The boysenberry and the mountain berry were a 3 out of 5 star. The peach was a 4 out of 5 star. The sour cream lemon was a 1 out of 5 star. After going there from St George, I would stop in again if going to Veyo for something else, but I wouldn't leave St George and Crowshaw's pies to go there. The coconut cream was better than Croshaw's, all the rest were not as good as Crowshaw's. They make their sour cream lemon. It is more like a very very thick custard. At Croshaw's it is more light and creamy. I would get the coconut cream pie any chance I could though.More

This is my first time visiting this pie shop after running by it in the St. George Marathon for 20 years. I had heard so many good things. Cherry pie is my favorite pie but their pie was actually no better than a Hostess cherry...pie. Actually awful. I paid $18 with tip. I need to find out what their best pie is to give them another chance because it is not cherry.More

In the small town id Veyo, Utah is a small shop you should not miss. We stopped there, I purchase a raspberry-cherry pie. It was still warm from the oven when we got it h some, cut out a generous piece, and added two scoops...of ice cream. This has to be one of the best pieces of pie I've ever eaten. If you're in the area, stop by and purchase a pie --- or a smaller portion, and ENJOY.More

Crowded little bakery with wonderful pies and we ordered lunch from the menu - it was good. Tiny dining space but we eat there and enjoyed the food. Restroom in an adjacent building required one to wait in line.
