We were only in tropic for one night while visiting Bryce Canyon. The Pioneer Village Motel was fairly close and reasonably priced. The staff were helpful. The rooms were small, but clean. The bathroom too was clean, but quite cramped. Our room had full beds that were not too comfortable. The rate was decent for the area and we knew... More

It was ok, not the best but not the worst either. Has beautiful scenery surrounding, rooms are ok-clean at least. Nice staff.

The place was ok, comfortable and clean. Had no issues with quality of place, as opposed to others. Others complain that price quality are not matching, that it is too expensive. The answer to that may be: location. From what I could see you could not get much cheaper if you want to be close to Bryce. Staff was very... More

There is a new wing to the hotel that has comfortable rooms for those on a budget. Following the model of southern utah, it was remote, simple and cheap. Just what the doctor ordered.. The restaurant was cowboy style with live music.

Very good dinner experience, with live country songs by a couple of performers, quick service, tasteful servings.

I agree with the other reviews about the hotel being very rustic and the rooms being dated. The floors , bathrooms and linens were clean, though. I did not see any evidence of bedbugs. The hallway entrances did smell musty but my room did not. I really was peeved that there was no in room blow dryer. I agree that... More

Very western feel and entertainment. Riley the cowboy can really get the feeling of down home going. Great food, I had the steak and my wife had the chicken. Both grilled right in front of you!

Our cabin was clean and updated, bathroom very small. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast just average. Do not eat at the Showdown Restaurant which is on premises. AWFUL!!

I stayed this motel in busy season, so I knew it needs some additional cost... But the room were smelled old and dirty PLUS there were many bedbug. I paid about $80 for the room but it was ridiculous. My opinion is, if you can book the room - w/o bedbug - less than $45 at busiest season, you will... More
