I agree with the other reviews-- plenty of chips and good salsa. But the place is dirty and run-down (not in a charming sense), service is pretty bad (mostly a bunch of high school kids that could care less), and the food all tastes the same.

Good food, good service, good drinks! Small but very good. Good place to just have a taco and very good margaritas!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the tastes are always great. We've eaten here lots of times (and ordered take out plenty of times). Everything we've tried has been great. A couple of favorite items are: Aloha Enchilada, Taquitos, or the Chimi. You really can't go wrong. The fresh chips and salsa are so good that... More

My 83 year old mother has dietary restrictions and we went here for lunch one day and she took her caffeine-free diet coke in with us as they do not serve any caffeine free diet drinks. A male server proceeded to tell my mom she could not dine there unless she threw her drink away. There is no state law... More

This place seems always to be hopping with locals. The building is a bit tired and has been many things previously. But the atmosphere is enjoyable and it's always fun to eat at a place with such a loyal base. The question seems to come up often in these reviews of whether this place is authentic Mexican. The answer is... More

I see the overall rating on tripadvisor and the headlines "Best Mexican Food in Utah". I just don't get it. The chips and salsa are good and plentiful but each of the entrees served at our table left a lot to be desired. I had the taco and enchilada taco. Ground beef taco was pretty good. The chicken enchilada with... More

The chips, salsa, and Chili Verde burrito/bowl are my favourites! The customer service is great and the prices are reasonable. Easy to find and if you order takeout they also give you chips and salsa"

While the menu has remained the same since Joe Bandito's opened 9 years ago, the chips and salsa are unbeatable - fresh hot light chips are delicious. the entrees are large, reasonably priced - 9 to 14 dollars per person and large enough to easily share between a couple. This is easily the busiest restaurant in town, be prepared for... More
