This is our favorite Indian restaurant. Excellent food, good prices, friendly service. They offer a great buffet.

This place is seriously nasty, the service is terrible and the food is unsanitary and it tasted like the tandoori chicken has turned. the server/ cashier was more interested in looking at his phone than seating, serving, or cashing us out. The whole place smells like rotting food slightly covered in curry and cheap jasmine incense. Just dont do it,... More

I am taking classes at The Univ of Utah and we are trying different cuisines as part of our geography class so I printed a restaurant.com and stopped by as it was on my route. The man was totally indifferent to my greeting and made no recommendations even though I asked for him to get involved. I placed a to... More

Love their buffet, and their rose water Lassi drink. The Nan bread is amazing. Garlic or regular. The wait staff are very kind and attentive. Fun place to go with a large family.

We just recently dined here for lunch. I took the buffet and my wife for a sheekh kabab plate. The lunch buffet was barely OK. The rice was really made long time back and was tasting hard. The sweets included gulab-jamun which was not at all great. The vegeterian dishes were OK. The sheekh kaba plate my wife ordered was... More

After reading the other reviews, I decided to give Taste of Punjab a try. I had to go back and re-read the reviews because I'm having a difficult time believing this was the same place described by other diners. Has management changed? The restaurant entrance was a mess of free magazines. There was trash on the dining room floor and... More

We took a business lunch at Taste of Punjab and I was quite pleased with the lunch buffet. I'm newer to Indian cuisine and their selections allowed me to try a bit of everything. Service was good, food was good, reasonably priced as well.

This was our first trip to an Indian since moving to salt lake. Restaurant was very popular Food was good but very hot! I went for mild to medium and that was too hot! Service was really slow as they only had one waitress. Was shocked by how pricey it was for restaurant in sandy cost $82 for two people!!!... More

I'm so glad to see that taste of Punjab reopened its lunch buffet with free special drinks. I have been there with my friends. We really enjoyed there. The food was fantastic and on the top of that was the mango lassi which was served free. The Indian drinks served in different flavors were delicious.

We were regular fans of the buffet here, really good food at a great price. They have discontinued the buffet to open a couple of hours later. The result is you can get a world class Indian late lunch, restaurant is lovely, uncrowded at that time. The vegetarian options are plentiful and the food is made to order. Delicious!
