This is a restaurant you would choose for your most special or romantic occasions. I will mention right off that it is a very high end restaurant. This place is set back off the road. You drive down this little private drive past beautiful landscaping and their vineyards. You will come upon this cottage looking place. Don't be surprised if... More

Every year we come here for Father's Day brunch. The food is always very good. The setting is spectacular and the service is fabulous. They always seem to just miss a bit on the outside grilling but the indoor selections are as good as anything anywhere. We will keep this tradition going.

Make sure you allow time to walk around the grounds and bring your camera. The food was excellent. Parking is valet. The grounds are beautiful, peacocks, streams, mountain views, and fountains. I wish I had spent more time walking around!

This is one of the best places I experienced for fine dining. The price was a little high, but service that was provided made it worth it. The waitress Meg when out of her way to cater to our needs. The food was well prepared.

Pluses - BEAUTIFUL environment. Wonderful to come early and walk around. Romantic. Secured. Definitely gives the feel that you are somewhere special. Negatives - worst food for veggies. The ravioli was worse than what you could buy pre-made in the refrigerated section of the grocery store and simply covered in butter. For the price I would have expected higher quality... More

I almost don't want to rave about how wonderful this place is as it will no longer be a best kept secret!! We were there as guests of a contractor (convention in SLC). I, as a spouse, flew in just in time to be included in this wonderful evening in the foothills. We had their wine and appetizers and walked... More

The food was terrible, tasted bad and poorly prepared. The service was mediocre at best , the building itself was terrific, the grounds and fixtures looked like they were held together with tape. It was EXPENSIVE and bad. I hate to give it such a poor review, because it was so great years ago....now...just bad.

I have been going to LaCaille for almost 40 years ( just after they opened in 1977). LaCaille, as a setting, has been known for its bucolic setting and wonderful atmosphere for years. The food however has always been a bit inconsistent. There are times when it is fabulous-- but there are times when it is just average. My wife... More
