This is where my friend and I always go to have a bite to eat. We always go to the bar and have a couple glasses of wine. I always get a taco placero I believe is what it's called. This is my fave Mexican...More

Went in this restaurant with few friends, service was ok, chips and salsa as well as the food was fresh and good. Kind of noise due to a lot of kids but was a good experience.

Service was not good, food mediocre, messed up one strawberry daiquiri with salt on the rim not sugar for a person that is sensitive to salt, we had to adk multiple times for silverware, messed up an order by adding mushrooms to a dish where...More

This food was not good and none of us liked it. Thankfully after only a couple of bites I said that was enough our waiter was nice enough to offer something else but everyone in our party had bad food so I declined for another...More

Love this joint! Their green salsa is to die for .. it is simply irresistible. The only thing that I dont' care for here is sometimes the dishes have simply too much sauce on them, making the taste a tiny bit too much.

We've gone a few times to the restaurant. We've not been blown away with the food, but has a few items that are fairly good. Service is quick - staff friendly.

Great service and great meal. Totally enjoyed our experience. Both our dishes were excellent. We both thought the food was so well prepared.

I'm from SoCal and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. Los Cucos delivers something for everyone with a good menu. And the portions are ample. I ordered El Memo, which included a chile verde enchilada, a chalupa, and a taco. The enchilada was outstanding,...More

The food was really great here. I liked that they had more then just your typical menu items. However the wait times were a little off putting. We waited 15 minutes to even be greeted by our server and it took 20 minutes to get...More

The salsa was just hot, not tasty just hot. They also brought out some green stuff with the salsa and I'm still not sure what it was. The Queso is just velveeta. The tamales were bland, the pork dish I had was so so. The...More

Description
The history of Los Cucos Mexican Café is an inspiring story of perseverance and success. It’s a story of two brothers, Manuel and Sergio Cabrera who came to Houston, Texas looking for the “American Dream.” Their dream became true through lot of hard work, dedication, and determination. By setting goals for success and providing the best quality in food and the best possible service to each and every customer since 1991, they have succeeded in turning their dreams into reality. The way of success of the Cabrera brothers’ was constructed by their constant work and determination. Along the way, both brothers worked long shifts seven days of the week. They scrubbed floors, washed dishes, and prepared food. The dream in their hearts motivated them to continue forward and to save enough money to be able to open a small restaurant. The opening of the first restaurant was a bittersweet dream become true. After having their grand opening on a Monday, the restaurant was destroyed by the fire the following Thursday, leaving nothing but ashes, smoke and frustration. And there was another unexpected surprise; they didn’t have insurance. All their savings were gone, but not their dreams and their will to succeed. They wouldn’t let any obstacle, hardship, or setback stop them from achieving their goals. Working even harder, they were able to reopen the restaurant one year later. This is the beginning of a business that has consistently grown stronger and continues to grow and thrive today. With more than 14 locations and many more planned to open, Los Cucos Mexican Café is committed to offering you the best food and the best possible service. Our warm and hospitable staff will make you feel at home.Thank you for making Los Cucos Mexican Café your restaurant.
