It's an old building wedged into a cliffside. The seats need new springs and so does the menu. We've tried it a couple of times and, other than appreciating the good service of a couple staff, the food is nothing special. Chili dishes, enchiladas --...More

We found the staff to be friendly. They brought plenty of chips and salsa. We ate out on the patio and had a fabulous view of the city and mountains. The food was okay, nothing special.

We went with long-term residents who eat there regularly. Best part was to how our friends ordered - add a bit of this and some of that...and more guacamole partway through - and the restaurant did a great job. We found half-portions sufficient. Try the...More

The food quality is not very good. A lot of prefabricated food there is not much left of a genuine Mexican kitchen.

I’ve been coming here since I was really young and it never disappoints. The salsa is my favorite of any Mexican restaurant. The special bean dip is so good! I don’t even normally like stuff like that. I love the tamales and the taco salad...More

Stopped in late afternoon on a Saturday for lunch. We waited in the lobby for what seemed like forever until another couple asked a passing employee to get the hostess. Once seated, the service was fine, but the food lacked flavor and Mexican originality. Wrapping...More

Traditional Mexican food. Delicious, affordable and quick service. Great drinks and a relaxed atmosphere as well. I really liked the option they had for ground beef on my tacos, instead of shredded beef. The virgin Pina Colada was tasty!

This is a local favorite that according to our waitress opened in November 1974, which I believe makes Paula’s one of the oldest St. George restaurants still running. I like the bright decor which makes for an authentic feeling atmosphere and the staff are very...More

We keep coming back to Paula's. They never disappoint. Delicious entrees, and a lovely view. Paula likes to change up the decor on a regular basis, so each visit is a new experience. A great family run establishment, with a genuine Tex-Mex menu.
