Visited the Painted Pony twice while we were on a hiking trip to Zion NP. The first time without a reservation, the second time with one. I highly suggest making a reservation during the busy months. Both of our server were great. We had: Beet salad $11.00 good Gorgonzola salad $9 (enough for two!) Pork Chop $30 (delicious) Rib Eye... More

Honestly we'd have eaten anything after a long day. What a great surprise to find a top-notch, gourmet restaurant with absolutely impeccable service and food.

I went here with my husband on a Tuesday night. We had made a reservation on open table. We came because it's ranked the best restaurant in St. George. To start we had the cocoanut shrimp. These were just good. Then we had the special tomato salad with watermelon and mozzarella. This was for sure the best thing we ate.... More

Food was very good a.d th he staff extremely friendly. The mussels were very good, but the broth was excellent. Carrot soup with a hint of jalapeno was excellent. My husband had the tuna and I had the hanger steak. The tuna was excellent. I should have had the filet....hanger steak was good, but not excellent. Bread was very good,... More

The Painted Pony is now one of my Top 5 restaurants. The theme is western and service is among the finest I've experienced anywhere. I enjoyed the best Top Sirloin steak ever at the Painted Pony. Can't wait to go again.

Our standards are high coming from San Francisco and good news Painted Pony didn't disappoint. Great seasonal food and pairing with a resonantly priced wine list. Be sure to check out the restaurant bar area the art is great and the other galleries in the building offer unique artists. Kelly and her team were perfect staff very attentive but not... More

Even when it's too hot to play golf or do other things in St. George, we always plan a night's stay so that we can dine at the Painted Pony. It never disappoints.

My wife and I invited our next-door neighbors to dinner. We brought a special bottle of wine from our own wine cellar (the restaurant charges only a $10 corking fee--very reasonable) and we also ordered a very good bottle of prosecco from the restaurant. Everything was outstanding as we expected. Excellent soups and appetizers/salads and entrees done perfectly. Very fine... More

If you're looking for a place that feels a little more special and is located in a beautiful section of downtown, this is it. It's not a large portion or budget oriented spot. It's an upscale meal with some delicious regional choices and a very comfortable environment.

Lunch is a good value and there salads can't be beat. Service is OK and there dinners are a bit pricy for what you get.
