Great choice for special occasions or for a good night out dining. Nice presentation. Generous serving for steak. Also enjoyed their quail appetizer. Great service.

My husband and I arrived in St George in time for a lovely dinner at the Painted Pony. It's a very attractive restaurant space with walls filled with terrific art. The food was very good and the service attentive. Clearly one of the best places for dinner in St George.

We had dinner at the pony for the third of fourth time and, unfortunately, that visit did not live up to the expectations we had set based upon our past experiences, which were extremely good. The wait staff was, as before, pleasant and efficient. Our appetizers were a bit avant garde, but nevertheless very good. Our main courses were chicken... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant. It is hard to find - located in the back of a mall area with many shops and on the second floor - poor signage. The waitress was very pleasant and knew the menu and made recommendations. The food, however, was NOT as good as we had hoped. My wife ordered a... More

Lovely location, friendly service and great food. What else could one ask for in such a remote location . Nikki owner ,sommelier, local knowledge guru, could not have been nicer with us. Our waitress was excellent. Wine list is moderately priced and offers enough selection even for the wino in me! Food was exceptional. Tomato season ....need one say more... More

My mother and I split the heirloom tomato salad with local tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and pickled watermelon, my mother had ahi tuna rare, I had a ribeye steak medium and my son had the filet medium rare. All food was cooked perfectly, not one complaint. The beef is grass fed, rather than the corn fed stuff in less expensive places.... More

We love our experience at the Painted Pony. The food was amazing. John was our waiter and made our experience even better. He has great suggestions from wine to appetizers to entrees. If you have a chance to eat at the Painted Pony you will not be disappointed.

We went to lunch at The Painted Pony. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding--especially the Beef Brisket sandwich and the Tenderloin Burger with blue cheese. We will definitely go there again when we are in St. George!!

The special is the heirloom tomato salad layered with mozzarella, topped with pickled watermelon and regular watermelon around it. Entre 1 - seared Ahi Tuna sliced over a large portion of noodles coated with an Asian inspired sauce and edamame. Entre 2 - petite grilled tenderloin steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Surprised with a choice of sliced Key Lime... More
