Steaks on the Hot Rock!

Very good steaks. Specialty is serving steaks to your table barely seared. They provide you with a Hot Rock where you cut off pieces of your steak and cook them as you go. Each bite is piping hot. They will gladly grill your steak if you wish. Atmosphere is nice. A bit pricey as expected, but... read more

Ordered a steak. The waiter asked if I wanted to cook it myself. Terrific idea. A great piece of meet arrived with 700 degree rocks (they held the heat for a long time) that allowed you to cut off a little steak at a time and cook it "just the way you wanted it". Rest of the dinner was also... More

The Anasazi was an interesting venue for dinner. We shared a cheese fondue for appetizer then grilled our own meets on a hot stone for the entree. The food servings were large but very well seasoned, tender meats, and good sides. The main problem was the noise coming from the kitchen. We sat in a booth across the room (other... More

Went there with a group of friends on New Years Eve. Ordered the filet mignon with scallops. They offered to grill the food like a normal restaurant or you could have it served on a hot rock barely seared. The rock is 700 degrees F. Feeling adventurous, I chose the rock. As you cut off pieces you cook each bite... More

First time here. I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed cooking my ribeye at the table. Of course you can have them cook it for you. Nice selection of beer and wine. appetizers were excellent as well. Our service was excellent and atmosphere was quite nice! Prices were reasonable.

First visit. I was with a large group for a business dinner and witnessed and tasted a large variety of food. Every appetizer was well done...fondue, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, brushetta. The steaks and salmon were excellent. The mashed potatoes and veggies were just right. And, the dessert were just as wonderful. While you can get your meat seared and... More

The schtick of this place is to cook your own meat on a hot rock on the table in front of you. WHY?! If I go out to dinner, I want to my food cooked for me. The meat is very good, the salads are fresh. But it is WAY over-priced for what you get. And, you leave smelling like... More

We just visited The Anasazi Steakhouse after a round of golf with a party of 7. I have had good to very good meals at other restaurants in St. George but this was not only very good but a new and different dining experience. They have a choice of traditional or "bricked" cook steaks. Bricked is a heated stone (heated... More

Not our first visit here, certainly not our last! Steaks and pork chops. Veggies were properly done and delicious. Wait staff was helpful and accommodating.

Steakhouse that you can either have the kitchen cook your steak (or other food) or cook your steak yourself on a searing hot stone they bring to the table. I chose to have my top sirloin (wanted a nice lean cut) cooked in the kitchen, Medium. The steak they brought me was unevenly cut and the thicker section was Rare... More
