Hubby and I travel through Provo twice a month. Tonight was our second visit to Cafe 300. Restaurant is very clean and service friendly. Food is very good and the menu offers many sandwiches, salads and comfort style food entrees. Turkey and Tri Tip were excellent. We had a burger and fries tonight which were fresh made. We will definitely... More

Coming through town, from the nice dog park, we stopped nearby after finding Cafe 300 recommended by Tripadvisor. We both had the veggie omelette (sorry for the duplication but we needed our veggies). We asked to have the potatoes well done (7 times out of ten, they don't). The potatoes were great as were all the fresh ingredients in the... More

Holy moly! The onion rings! Ya gotta get them! The pulled pork sandwich and the club sandwich were both hits in our opinion. The place was a little dirty though. They need to be better at keeping their tables bussed. It would help if they had a couple more people working. There was only one waitress for the entire place.... More

Most of the Provo restaurants are closed on Sunday, but found this authentic diner on my way into town. Great BBQ (I am from NC so I don't throw this complement easily) and a Reuben that runs neck-n-neck with my favorite NYC deli. A gumbo that took my back to the French Quarter. Fantastic family-run diner!

The absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I went there on 5/7/16, the day before Mother's Day, to have lunch with my family. The place wasn't busy, maybe 5 other tables in the entire building were occupied. We had a large group, 7 adults and 3 children. We waited for at least 30 minutes before our order was... More

This little restaurant has the vibe of a 50's diner with a unique menu. We tried a number of platters, most were delicious, some items were a bit salty. The usually easily forgotten vegetable side dishes were the stars of the dinners. Our included cooked to perfection asparagus. We missed breakfast, but I hope to go back for it. They... More

This is a throw back to the fifties in decor, but the food is today. The wait service was very cordial to everyone that entered while we were there. They were very attentive and made you feel as if you had been invited into their home. The food was very good, we had breakfast. We think you will find something... More

What we liked about Cafe 300 was the family nature of the experience. Cafes and diners are something we enjoy targeting. Like most diners, the menus are consistent -- burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, beef/chicken, onion rings, potatoes in all their variety, and milkshakes. I had the chicken fried steak, baked potato and corn with salad; my wife a grilled veggie... More

Family owned diner, went here for breakfast and I had the three cheeses omelette with ham. It was good, probably the potatoes can be improved but still fine. Coffee was good as well, good and fast service, caring for any needs, constantly checking if you need a coffee refill and very friendly. The do not accept Amex.

We ate here recently after a tour of the new temple a few blocks to the north. We arrived in between lunch and dinner so we had the place almost to ourselves. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the food was great. Large portions. Three out of the five of us were unable to finish everything brought out.... More
