I had the pastrami sandwich. It was really good. Try it out. Get the sandwich with cherry pepper horseradish sauce.

First off, the cheesesteaks are amazing and enormous. We should have split a large instead of ordering two regulars. My husband and I love cheesesteaks and we'll definitely be back. The place was hopping at lunch time, and though the line was long, we only waited a short time for our food. Pretty impressive for how busy they are. The... More

As an East Coaster I love me my cheesesteaks (grinders, if you will). DP's has a great variety of choices that match up pretty well against my hometown grindah's. Steak and chicken grinders made to anyone's liking. They are a little bit pricey compared to your other local sandwich shops but Subways, etc has nothing on these guys. You gotta... More

Occasionally I feel the need to stop and enjoy. It could be looking at the beauty of a spring day or to listen to my favorite Prince song, but then there is the time I need the taste of steak and cheese. Then I go to DPs. They make a very good sandwich. My favorite is the regular steak and... More

I could eat here every day. I love their cheesesteaks. The pizza steak is my favorite. Others I have tried include the Whiz steak and the Traditional. All delicious. Friendly staff and the service is very fast. Try it!

This is a favorite place for our family. Consistently great sandwiches, and having lived in Pennsylvania, I love seeing Birch Beer again. Friendly and great staff. Delicious food. Great combo! Highly recommended.

Okay, so, during my first review, I did not have the best first experience. Chalk this down to the workers, ingredients, whatever. I have since revisited DP from when I gave my original review and have had a change of heart. On my first visit, I was served up dry bread. It seemed crumbly, and was so dry that it... More

My favorite is the Whiz Wit; my husband loves the pizza steak. Everything we've tried is great. You can round out your sandwich with authentic sides like Herr's potato chips, Birch Beer, and Tasty Kakes (though they didn't have them last time we were there).

I've been to many counter service restaurants and it is rare I want to return immediately. I've never been to Philadelphia so I can't compare to that; however, this was the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Awesome meat and ingredients. The bun was so soft. The birch beer was delicious. I instantly wanted another sandwich. It was that amazing! I'm... More
