Very quaint small atmosphere. You forgot you are in US and think you were at a small in in Austria or Switzerland. Concept is small tastings instead of large portions. Great concept as each dish has an explosion of flavors and you would not want to miss trying several of them. Service was impeccable as well. We have eaten all... More

As a lover of creative food, tapas are my favorite dining option. It's nice to be able to order and taste several things, rather than having to settle for a single entree. Mariposa's tapas prices are similar to what many restaurants charge for a full meal, however. Be advised before you go that is NOT a place for people traveling... More

Our dinner was delicious and I would go back. However, the hostess was beyond rude and I have never seen such discourtesy, especially at Deer Valley.

There was such an enticing variety of small plates that I wish I could have tried them all! Loved the intimate setting with a fireplace. The service was friendly and helpful in making food and wine selections. The sauces on the food were flavorful ( especially the bison and beggars purse).

If you like food, go here. Our group of 6 had a phenomenal dinner. Pros: Initmate comfortable setting, conveniently located in Silver Lake Village, knowledgable service, warm hospitality, expansive menu with tons of unique choices (see below), unique wine pairing option. Cons: A few dishes more about presentation than taste, pricey, restaurant in ski lodge so bathrooms not high end... More

We really liked the menu selections we read about on line for Mariposa. We also prefer smaller portions so definitely wanted to try it. To our pleasant surprise, we had a fine dining experience. We liked the white tablecloths, nice size wine glasses, the extensive, but not unreasonably priced wine list, and very good selection of food options, all served... More

My husband and I dined at Mariposa in February, and were blown away! My experience with big ski resort villages (especially the ones at the base of the ski slope or in slopeside villages) is that the food is expensive and reasonably good, but nothing to write home about. Mariposa breaks that rule. Mariposa is located in Silver Lake Villiage... More

Maripsoa is a must visit if you are looking for fine dining in Park City. The experience is sort of Tapas meets gourmet continental. All dishes are small plates designed so that you can create your own customized tasting experience. I tend to be a sucker for high end tasting menus, so I loved the opportunity to pick from a... Located in Deer Valley so a trip up from town if you are not staying in DV. Most will find it well worth the effort, the few who may not probably do not like small plate dining. Wait staff introduce this as creating your own tasting menu vs. a set "TM" by the chef. After this, it's pretty much a... More

This is a fine restaurant ,but i am not a fan of the small plate concept. they recommend 4-5 plates and they are all expensive. Gnocchi (about 10) $16.00. Romaine lettuce salad $12.00 etc... The tastes and the service were very good, but this is not my style
