Do NOT go! Horrible food and horrible management. I personally reached out to the restaurant before posting this bad review to respectfully request a refund, and the response from the owner was that "nothing was wrong" with their food as "other people had the same...dish that night". So save yourself the money and don't stop you here! See our experience below. Saturday night me and my wife traveled from Provo to Park City to try something new for our anniversary. We settled on Bartolos. Upon arriving the atmosphere was not quite what we expected with the menu pricing. Underwhelmed, we decided to still be seated. After reviewing the menu on our phones as no menus were provided, we settled on two alfredo's one with gluten free pasta, a side of potatoes, and the pea risotto. The potatoes came out first and they were okay. Nothing special. Next came the entrees, and wow were we disappointed. For $20 for a plate of pasta and nothing more you'd expect the taste to be fantastic. It was not. My wife's gluten free pasta tasted undercooked and like it has a chemical taste to it. My alfredo also had a horrible taste. It has rotisserie style shredded chicken in it and the flavors were not there. The risotto was lacking flavor and the creaminess risotto is known for. It had chunks of asparagus throughout and again no flavor. This dish alone was $21 a plate with no sides of any kind. At this price point you'd expect something spectacular and none of our food was. My wife started getting sick after just a few bites so we called the waitress over to take it back. At this point we just wanted to get out of there. We asked for the check and out we went. We said no boxes as there was no way we would touch the food again. We were very disappointed in the quality and flavor of food. We'd been gone for just over an hour and my wife was still sick to her stomach. I'm not sure what was in the alfredo but something needs to change. After reading several other review sites you'll see that people's experiences were the same as ours. The food is not good. Not even close to authentic italian. We've been to Italy and this is not it. For the pricing they are charging people ($18-$21 for a plate of pasta) you'd expect and should receive so much more than what was given. If I'm being honest I would recommend olive garden over this establishment after what we tasted. We were so dissatisfied with our experience, the waitress could tell. She avoided the table after we sent back the dish. We didn't know how to send back everything we ordered without alarming the other guests around us, so we left and reached out to management immediately. Unfortunately the experience and response from them was also lack luster. Please read ALL the reviews on this place and you'll see the quality and it skill level is just not there. Save yourself and try something good!More

Atmosphere was bright, clean, modern. Service was friendly but not overbearing. Food was amazing! I had the savory veggie waffle which was exactly what I wanted-healthy, interesting, something I would go back for. My husband enjoyed his breakfast bowl, and my daughter had the Rigatoni...Bolognese. The pasta was more conventional, but very well done. Overall, we were thrilled to happen on such a good place for brunch.More

We were headed to another restaurant that was closed and then saw Bartolo’s. What luck!! It was so fresh, unique, and delicious! We had the avocado toast and blueberry Dutch pancakes and enjoyed every bite. The choice of “still” or sparkling water was an added...bonus. In addition, all employees were kind and attentive. They are treated each other with respect. Don’t miss this!!More

My young daughter was in the mood for noodles and this restaurant was available on Door Dash. The food was okay. The spicy shrimp and spaghetti had a good sauce but the gf noodle was terrible. The fettuccine sauce was mushroom-ie and not very creamy.

We had an absolutely delightful brunch at Bartolo's. My wife had "Eggs your way", and I had the "Blueberry Dutch Baby Pancake." Both plates were delicious. The food was perfectly prepared and the portions were generous but not excessive. Very good coffee as well. Prices...are within reason given the location. Service was effective enough, but not particularly friendly. We will definitely return for brunch, and I think we will likely try dinner here as well. This is a nice addition to the local dining scene.More

Excellent food, perfect portions. We just arrived in town, Friday night and needed to get dinner. Quickly got a reservation and headed over after a quick stop at the grocery store close by. The waitress was a slight bit pushy trying to sell items (The...focaccia for one)we really were not interested in. But to her credit she did back off after we clearly said no. We split the baby kale and quino salad, very generous portion and they did serve it on separate plates for us which is much appreciated. My husband had the fettuccine puttanesca which was outstanding! I had the lamb capanelli and it was remarkable! Best I’ve ever had and I’m a huge lamb fan. Generous portions of lamb and the sauce was perfecto! Will be back for more and highly recommend this restaurant.More

Our food was great. Service was very friendly. Pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit to Bartiolo’s if you’re in Park City.

Casual restaurants with reasonable pricing are difficult to find in Park City but Bartolo's fits the needs very well.
