I tried the chocolate and the blueberry and both were excellent. Scoops From The Past lives up to its name, too – they have a cozy yesteryear atmosphere. This is definitely the place for quality scoops in Panguitch, Utah.

We ate here one night when staying near Bryce Canyon National Park. The restaurant is an old movie theatre with 1950's news clippings on the wall and music playing from then. The menu had things on it that we decided couldn't be cooked recently or cooked to order, so we just had hamburgers. They were pretty good burgers and the... More

Most businesses are closed on Sunday, but if you are traveling and need refreshment, this place is open. We stayed at Church's Blue Pine Motel and was reminded the night before that Scoops would be open on Sunday. We had a good breakfast, made better in the fact that we did not have to search for a place down the... More

Stopped here for some ice cream after dinner. The location inside an old movie theater was very unique. I was disappointed that the only fruit flavored ice cream was mango. After trying a small bite of the heath ice cream I decided to have that. I should have stopped the server when a huge chunk of toffee (peanut butter?) in... More

We arrived at 957 and were starving. Most places in this cute little town were closed. We walked in and asked if we could still order dinner. Most places would have said it was too late. These guys were so generous and allowed us to order off the full menu. We made them stay late but they were so gracious... More

We came here due to the location. We were extremely happy with both the service & the product. We got the LARGE soft ice cream cones & for the price spent I have to say we definitely got our money's worth.

You're in Mormon country so finding anything open on a Sunday is tough in a little town like Panguitch. In addition to ice cream they also have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had the ribs and although not my style (too dry) thought they were better than Cowboy Smokehouse. Nice place to sit outside.

Very tasty and welcoming type of place! We had their breakfast of the day for 5$. It included some bacon, 2 eggs, potatoes and fruit. Coffee and croissants were additional 5 dollars for 2 people. Everything tasted great. The waiter was very friendly and gave us good advice regarding hiking in Zion National Park. They have lunch and dinner menu... More

We were going to just do a sandwich and a milk shake, but when we saw other's food like soggy fries and hamburger more like a golf ball than a patty (honestly thought it was small portobello mushrooms), we decided to get one of the shakes that people raved about with the homemade ice cream. The person working the front... More

They were out of nearly half of the menu items. Food was just so-so. Our group ordered 4 burgers cooked 3 ways - all came out over cooked. Also, sides we ordered all came out the same - not as ordered. Obviously the cook ignored the waitress' order as written.
