With all the fear of the virus going on. It was hard to find a place to sit down and enjoy dinner. I saw this place as we drove into town. We looked at other locations in town and decided to try this place. The...staff was very friendly, The service was quick and the food was amazing. I would recommend if your in Panguitch you should check this place out. It is a cowboy cafe. We enjoyed everything about this place .More

We had a very nice dinner at the Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe. I had the rotisserie chicken that was nicely smoked with unique flavor and was very juicy. Vegetables were fresh. The service was very fast and friendly. Although there was nothing fancy or special about...the restaurant, the food was good and service was very nice. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food delivered. This was the cheapest meal of our trip. Overall, I highly recommend Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe for anyone looking for a nice quick meal.More

We stopped in and ordered some food to go. I guess we should feel fortunate that they were able to help us because people behind us in line they were literally turning people away said that they cannot feed them too busy. I feel that...a successful business would be able to staff for friday/sat nights and be ready to generate revenue. The wait staff was super nice though. In fact 'sweet' is the word that my wife chose. They could really use some 'rush hour' help to increase revenue. The food was average and nothing really stuck out as 'over the top'. We got appetizers, bbq and desert. The grilled chicken meat was smokey in taste, but was just wings and thighs. A bone in chicken breast would have been something to talk about. The stuffed potato skins were kind of plain. We tried two cobblers. They were kind of dull and boring but may hit the spot for some people. Just not us. All in all, we spent well over $100 for food for 4, but we were ultimately disappointed fortunately dominos delivers when we got back to cedar.More

Stopped in for a late lunch after visiting Bryce Canyon. Ordered pulled pork sandwich and loved their BBQ sauce! Husband ordered Pigtail appetizer which was also good. Tried a few wings which hubby said were great. Portion sizes were large and price was reasonable. Waitress...Genny was friendly and offered great advice on scenic drive through Dixie National Forest. Would definitely stop there again.More

we stayed about one week in Panguitch and went to the place 4times. first dinner: about 7pm Friday, BBQ menu is fairly depleted. essentially we can have only pulled pork or sausage. ok. we stay for pork, we are very happy. we must try the...sampler plate. 2 days later we come back for cheese cake mid afternoon - too full first day. Excellent. jeez. what a place. (OK, we forget that the waitress is alone, helped by a clueless teen. waitress does a good job considering the situation, and we are on vacation) but... another 2 days. 6:30pm. damn, again the BBQ menu is sold out. this time, only the ribs are available. next day, we are back a bit earlier even. ah. all is there. excellent ribs, so-so trip tip. and soggy (soggy???) pulled pork... did they refresh some pork in water ? nothing like the first day.. so... a restaurant which is sold out so early.... hhhmmm and the 2nd pulled pork. damn. i blame myself to have started thinking returning it when i was half way through and decided against it as i was so much into it before "deciding". unfortunate. there was a great potential.More

The only thing that kept this from a five star rating was the service. Not that it was bad, but the place was so understaffed that the two servers couldn't keep up. The service was friendly when you could get it, but we waited over...15 minutes for a server to come by after we were seated. No one even gave us water. When he did finally come over, and mind you, it wasn't that he was lazy or inattentive, he was almost out of breath. We ordered the combination plate and then he informed us that they were out of 2 of our 3 choices. We ordered it with the meats available and it was excellent. We didn't see him again until it was time for the bill. Because it was later in the year and they were probably close to shutting down for the season, they didn't expect the amount of clients and didn't staff accordingly. But it's definitely worth visiting for the food.More

Amazing meats of all sorts! Worth the drive from Bryce Canyon! We were visiting Bryce Canyon and wanted a hearty dinner after some intense hiking today. The restaurants around Bryce had so-so reviews, so we expanded our search to surrounding towns, which is how we...found this gem! When we parked and got out of our van, we saw the gentleman smoking the meat, so we knew this was going to be a great choice! It did not disappoint! I enjoyed the pulled pork salad—-delicious! My sons enjoyed the burger, and another son had the pigtails as his meal. Pigtails—highly recommend those! They were extra thick curly fries topped with pulled pork, slaw and BBQ sauce. My husband got the 3 Meat sampler and enjoyed ribs, turkey breast and smoked sausage. We also ended up with brisket because of a mix up with our order. He said the turkey breast was his favorite as well as the ribs. We also enjoyed chips and salsa as an appetizer, and the chips were freshly made and brought HOT to our table! Service was fabulous, too! Also, if you pay with cash, they give you a 4% discount. It was fun to talk with one of our servers who had lived for a couple of years in TN where we are from! He mentioned that he made the the BBQ sauce. It was 18 miles from our hotel in Bryce, and it was worth it! We drive back after sunset and caught breathtaking views of the moon and stars! Our favorite meal on vacation so far!More

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. Two of us had sautéed trout, one had BBQ ribs, and the other had sirloin steak. Topped the meal off with peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. The decor was cleverly done with a western...motif. The server Stephanie was a delight! I look forward to my next visit to this area for more good food and atmosphere at the Cowboy Smokehouse Cafe!More

No - they don't take reservations, but they'll put your name on a list if they're busy - it's a first-come, first-served type place. Go though - it's great.
