Stopped in here for lunch on a recommendation and we were very pleased. This is a small mexican restaurant located in a strip mall on 800 N and State Street in Orem. There are plenty of tables inside and they have a couple of tables outside if the weather is good. They have a very large menu and the food... More

We tried this place based on positive reviews. Service was excellent, but the food was awful. My beef burrito was 90% flour tortilla and 10% mixture of salsa, cilantro and a few nodules of ground beef. I ate very little of the flour tortilla and piled it up on my plate at the end. It was almost the same size... More

I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants throughout my life in Mexico,on ships, in hotels and anywhere else in the US. I have most times been satisfied somewhat with what I ordered, but not like Maria Bonita Restaurant in Orem. I love seafood growing up in Hawaii and familiar with many ethnic dishes. I however never have liked eating mussels... More

The food at Maria Bonita is so delicious. It's an awesome Mexican restaurant that has very tasty food. Service is pretty good, but not excellent. But everyone there obviously cares about the delicious food. They have standard Mexican sit down food, but they also have a few specialty items like "Caldo of the 7 Seas." They remodeled a few years... More

The food at Maria Bonita is great. They did bring the wrong plate 2x but once right it was good. Service and even more importantly management is terrible. Disrespected and treated poorly. Will never return.

This was our first time eating here and what a surprise! It's a small space but decorated cute and lots of choices on the menu for something for everyone. We ordered the flautas and fajitas for lunch. I have to include a picture cause the size of these three flautas was unbelievable!!! Larger than my arm served on a huge... More

I wasn't overly impressed. The food was acceptable, but absolutely nothing to rave about. I got the mole enchiladas...my standard. Doesn't come close to Red Iguana's. Even Mi Ranchito, which I barely rate as real Mexican food, has better mole. Getting seated was a nightmare and the seats themselves were like hammocks--super uncomfortable. The service was quick, despite being a... More

When the four of us showed up the waitress tried to seat us at a table for 3 and when I said that was unacceptable she rolled her eyes at me but sat us at a table for 3. Her service did not get any better. She never ask for our drink order she came to our table and asked,"do... More

Small restaurant, somewhat slow, worth the wait in terms of taste and portion size, and selection. Creamy horchata. I liked the chili relleno, cheese enchilada combination. It was $85 for five adults and four children.
