My boyfriend really wanted to go to a sit down restaurant and The Stagecoach Grill did not disappoint. The restaurant is loaded with character, The food and service were terrific. We even had a Mountain View.

We went to Ogden to go to the Children's museum, but found that it was temporarily closed. We Googled "best restaurants in Ogden" and Stagecoach came up. Because there were lots of cars there, we went in. It was about 1:00 p.m. They know how...to cook and make everything taste amazing. Most of the family got breakfast. We all shared and loved everything from crunchy French toast, scone, pancakes, eggs, crispy hash browns, best onion rings, ham and sausage....Oh my, the sausage. Unlike any kind I have had. I'm getting a side of that next time. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Toasted bun, freshly sautéed onions and bell pepper tasty sliced beef. Great portions, great price. I'm glad we went in the afternoon. It is probably mobbed in the morning.More

Reviews are misleading. Service was okay but very slow cleaning tables. Food is not for those seeking a healthy meal!! Eggs were greasy, portions were huge with little flavor. It took asking four times before decaf coffee was refilled.

Saw this place when we were out driving around checking out the area. Looked it up online, sounded good so we stopped. Good value, where else can you get a burger and fries for around $8? My son had the chili burger and loved it....The scones were just a piece of deep fried dough with a mildly sweet dipping sauce, yum! Nothing sophisticated or over the top, but if you just want some comfort food at a good price, this is your place!More

Reviews seemed to be good. Unfortunately, they were mostly from 12months prior. Food was terrible. Flys all around. Charged extra for sour cream for a baked potato. I would not ever recommend.

WOW portions are HUGE. We ate off one plate for 3 days. Food was great and homemade. I had the roast beef and hubby had the chicken fried steak. You definitely get alot for your money. We were totally happy.

I had the roast beef dinner after reading a positive review on this site. I just couldn't eat more than a few bites and I did that just to be polite and with the hopes that it was just my palate that needed to adjust...and that it would start to taste better. I don't think I received a bad version of the meal as they prepare it...I think this is how they always prepare it: a stack of thin-sliced, salty, beef more suitable for deli sandwiches, covered with an inch-thick serving of gelatinous, and salty, gravy. On the side is a scoop of very hard mashed potatoes covered with more salty gravy. In a small bowl are green beans simmered w/bacon; again, salty and I found the bacon after taking a couple of bites (I no longer eat pork). I ordered the "scone" instead of a roll knowing that it was a version of Navajo fry bread. I've had good fry bread in the past, this was just too greasy for me. The salad as the starter, and the unsweetened iced tea, were decent and they had really good bleu cheese dressing. I did not ask for a different meal as I was fearful of encountering a new problem. I paid with cash, asked for a receipt for my travel expenses, but they did not know how to print one with their old register. Maybe you receive a receipt with credit or debit card use? So, won't get reimbursed for this meal and I'll chalk it up to a learning experience. Drove to Ye Olde Cupcake shop in town and grabbed a couple of mini cakes to counteract the salt, haha! That, and a lot of water :) The staff were very nice and worked hard. I just wished the food was good.More

The food is great comfort food. They give you very large portions as if you where at your mothers house. I had the roast beef and mash potatoes with green beans and a roll. Lots of choices and they have a kids menu... Worth the...9.99$.More

A great no-frills dinner where the coffee is hot and always full. Plentiful portion sizes, made to order with requests expertly fulfilled. My corned beef had such a wonderful crisp on it ( per request), it was an enjoyable meal.

Just good almost-home cooking. I've eaten here numerous times, and it's always just plain good. Simple fare at modest cost and just-right portion sizes. Booth seats are a little worn, but that's the only nit I can pick.

... Bad meal. I'm here now with 4 generations of family. I usually come here with my dad and stepmom. My father passed a few years ago, but I still eat here when in town. This year I'm with my stepmother, wife, daughter and 3...grandkids. The food is excellent, the service good. It has to be to keep me coming back. I usually give a place 2 tries to lose my business. This place has earned my business.More
