I thought the food here was good. As a vegetarian I was nervous as there aren't many options other than this restaurant. And based on other reviews I thought I might end up eating a protein bar for dinner. But instead we shared the Navajo taco without meat and it was tasty! We also shared a quesadilla and that was... We stayed at one of the cabins so automatically ended up at the View restaurant. We were not much impressed. The hamburger was dry and the salad bar was uninspired. The Navajo dish that I had was a bit greasy and salty. The soup was the best thing about the dinner. It did not look as if the town at... More

We stayed in the hotel for one night and had dinner at The View restaurant. The service was okay and we did get a window table. The soup was tasty and the salad bar was medium stocked. The big let down was my Navajo burger. Fries were undercooked and fatty, beef had no taste whatsoever. This restaurant is the only... More

The location of the restaurant is excellent, the staff is very friendly, the only problem of the restaurant is the food. The best you can eat is probably soup&salad from the salad bar, which is also quite inexpensive.

Over two days, we ate lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Consistently, the service was terrible. The dinner was terrible, the lunch so-so and I am not sure what is the best description for the breakfast. If you are going to The View, go for the view, not the food.

Biggest plus for the restaurant is the location in the park and next to the hotel. There aren't many options in the immediate area, but it is a great option. Morning breakfast buffet is the perfect start to a sight-seeing day with several traditional breakfast items as well as traditional "continental breakfast" choices. We didn't try lunch there, but if... More

The food was extremely bland. We stayed at the hotel for a few days so we had no choice but to eat the food. Nearly every meal we ordered was bland and without taste. I am giving it to stars because it was life sustaining and did not make us sick. That counts for something, right?

Breathtaking views, but uninspiring, boring food - what a shame! Why does the cuisine not try to keep up with this wonderful location?

After our tours we ate at the View. Perfect name for the restaurant. The lunches were excellent and reasonably priced. The service was very good. It was a relaxing and rejuvenating respite.

We ate lunch here, having spent time on and near the Navajo Reservation in the "Four Corners" area I have eaten many meals with some Navajo friends. I had the Mutton Stew and Navajo Fry Bread, both where very flavorful and fairly authentic, my wife had what she described as a delicious chicken salad
