Chile Relleno was excellent

This restaurant has changed owners over the years and now they changed names so I thought I should try it out. Unfortunately, there was a lot of road construction on the main street but we were finally able to get to the parking lot. The menu was quite extensive so I asked the waitress her recommendation out of the carne asada and chile relleno. She said chile relleno so I went with that, with rice and beans. I also chose the flour tortilla. They first brought out a basket of warm chips and told me where the salsa bar was so I went to pick some. It was in the same place as the previous restaurant's so I was familiar with it. I picked several and enjoyed them all. My wife especially liked the mango salsa. My order arrived faster than I expected as I had just started enjoying the chips and salsas. The Chile Relleno was excellent. It was smothered in a reddish sauce that I even used as a salsa for my chips. The cheese inside was slightly melted and not too gooey so that was good. The only slightly negative thing about the Chile was at the end by the stem they had left a few seeds. It was sooh good I was trying to eat everything, even near the stem. Will definitely come again.

Good food- a little pricey for Mexican Food

The food was quite good. Fajitas were fantastic. It was nice to have a self-serve salsa bar and plenty of chips, although several of the salsa containers in the salsa bar were empty. It was surprisingly pricey for Mexican food, but still good overall. Worth going back to.

Good Mexican Food

There may be better options in Heber Valley for Mexican food, but if you’re in Midway this is a good option. Service was a little slow but people were friendly and they were clearly making an effort. Seating was comfortable but I wish they had more booths. Menu provides lots of good options and if you like salsa bars, this is the place for you. Chips could have been fresher. I had the cheese enchiladas and my wife had the sopes. Food was good and we left satisfied.

Good Food

This restaurant recently changed its name and ownership. No trouble getting a table for four on a Friday night. There is plenty of inside seating in two large sections of the restaurant. You begin with a basket of chips and go to a salsa bar to pick your dipping sauces. The service was good, the portions are good and meals served hot, prices are reasonable. We ordered burritios, tamales, fajitas and chiles rellenos. All come with rice and beans. All come with choice of meat fillings. We will be back.

Poor customer service

We called at 11 am to see if they needed reservations for 8 people at 630 pm The gentleman said yes and took our name and number. When we arrived, we were told we didn’t have a reservation and were told we called the wrong restaurant. When we showed them our cellphone with recorded date and time, they again told us we didn’t have a reservation. The hostess went back and talked to the morning staff, who all claimed they didn’t take the call. The hostess said that no one took a resvernation (accused us of lying) and told us we’d have to get in line for a reservation. Extremely poor customer service, she was not friendly, nor did she apologize or try to make amends at all. Will not revisit.

Nice place- roomy, delicious food served promptly

Stopped in here randomly with a group of 6 people- service was prompt- facility was clean and the food was delicious. They have a homemade salsa bar and there were several to choose from - mild to hot. The RT 66 margarita wa delicious.

Great Mexican food

Excellent food, great variety and great service. My wife and I had fajitas and sopes, both were excellent. The salsa bar was the first sign that it was going to be good, several options of homemade salsas. The tortillas were also freshly made. The price was reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Once Again Very Good

Been here before. Service very good, food very tasty, portion sizes good, reasonable prices. I had Torta Salchica y Jamon with refried beans and veggies. The torta is their special roll with the sausage and ham between the slices including cheese avocado, tomato, lettuce and other ingredients. Very tasty. Wife had Barbacoa Burrito which is slow braised lamb. Also very tasty. And of course you begin with chips and their special salsa bar. Always enjoy eating here.

Inattentive and unprofessional

Service so very slow. Only 2 tables. 2 server’s. Waited 15 min for her to ask us our food order even though they have a nice bar. Ordered a drink , took 15 more minutes no one in restaurant. Then she told me she was out of my drink. So I ordered a wine that they forgot and after reminding them after we were halfway through eating they showed me an empty bottle of my choice. Very inattentive and sloppy. Food was adequate but nothing special. Salsa bar is the only thing they have going for them!!

Excellent Mexican food!

We first went to Lupita's on the recommendation from one of my wife's friends. We've eaten there a couple of times since. Simply put, it is the best Mexican food we've eaten in a long time! The salsa bar and the enchiladas and rellenos are particularly amazing.

Weeknight dinner, wife, friend and I seated promptly. Always enjoy the chips and unlimited salsa bar. Wife and friend had Quesadillas with shredded chicken, tasty. I had a Burrito with shredded beef in a red sauce. Very large portion. Very reasonable prices. Will come again.

Awesome food!

We had lunch here a week ago based on the recommendation of a friend. Long story made short...it is awesome Mexican food at a good price. My wife's chicken enchiladas were very good and my chili rellenos were as well,,,plus, the salsa bar is incredible.

Excellent time!

Went there early Sunday evening, cold after a day of tubing, happy to find something open. The service and atmosphere was excellent. Our waiter was exceptionally good. The food was definitely a cut above your average Mexican restaurant. We will likely go back the next time we are in town.

An amazing place to eat in Midway

This place has great food, the salsa bar is impressive, and service is top notch. The chocolate cake topped with flan is yummy, we liked Lupita's so much we went back a 2nd night for dinner.
