This restaurant is worth the time to find. Fortunately, we were staying in a hotel across the street. The $8 salad was easily enough to share and our server permitted us to try two different "half salads". The beef tenderloin, served with green beans and mashed potatoes was excellent; and the parmesan mahi-mahi on fettucine was prepared in light oil... More

Tucked away in the corner or a strip mall, this restaurant is a little obscured. The menu is good, the flavors are good, the service is good... Search for a Groupon, available frequently.

I just like this Epic. The servers are fun and helpful the food was great. And the Beer... Well it is Epic.. and I love their beer so it not a stretch for me to say I loved it. Some times its a little hard to get into, meaning you will have to wait a little bit, but its worth... More

Food was a actually great both times. The first time some poor lady customer coughed for 30 minutes straight so I hardly enjoyed my food. She was just over my shoulder. This time, no coughing lady, and the food was outstanding. I really loved the beef tenderloin flatbread, or something like that. Very tasty.

We used to dine at Epic several times a month but menu got old so we quit going. Thought we'd try it again. MISTAKE!!! Both of is literally ran for bathroom even though we had two different dishes. The angel hair pasta was gummy and overcooked and service was exceptionally slow. To be fair the fish was fairly good... but... More

We always stay in Midvale when we go to Salt Lake City for skiing. On out first visit to Epic we were very pleased. It has a very nice atmosphere and isn't as noisy as a lot of restaurants. They serve a variety of foods which is nice for a group. I have had pork medallions and a pasta dish... More

I tried Epic several years ago when it first opened. I was unimpressed and never went back. It is really close to where I live and seems to get good reviews. I decided to give it a second chance and was pleasantly surprised. They seem to have gotten their act together; both the service and food was good. It was... More

Have been to so many places I wanted to try something new. Found this on TA. Asked about 10 locals and only 1 had been there. Took a group there for dinner. Prompt service, very clean, fair menu with regards to variety. Food was good. Just want we were interested in. A good meal at a local place where you... More

Good food at fair price. A nicer casual with an okay wine selection and fairly good service. A locals kind of place when you don't feel like going to downtown. We have been a number of times and the service & food can be a little inconsistent, but never bad.

Glad they had paper over the table cloth so that I had something to discretely put the gristle into. What's the story with the noise level? Does everyone have to compete with the Macaroni Grill these days to see who has the loudest dining room? Wait staff was excellent but I think the 20% tip was based on the meal,... More
