I met a friend of mine for lunch--we're both Thai food lovers. The menu did not identify gluten free, but the server knew which options were safe for me to eat and directed me accordingly. I had the Chicken Pad Thai. My friend ordered the same with the beef. Overall I thought the dish tasty and a bit saucier than... More

I've been eating at Mekong for over 15 years now and I'm pretty sure they put heroin in their food!! I have NEVER had a bad dish here and Brenda and her husband do a bang up job serving the best Thai food in Utah. If you visit SLC, don't miss Mekong or you'll go home regretting it!

I have eaten at many Thai places and I can tell you this by far is the best. Prices are great and the service is great. Very clean. Curry is off the hook.

Fast service in this small family run restaurant. We enjoyed a imported beer while we waited for dinner. We shared a order of coconut shrimp, it was amazing! The lightly sweet dipping sauce was unique and really set off the flavor of the shrimp. We also enjoyed our dinners of Thai basil chicken and beef massaman curry. Can't beat the... More

We come here when we want quick fast Thai food for lunch. The fixed menu is perfect to meet a variety of tastes , but obviously you can venture into the normal menu for lunch . Overall the food is tasty and comes out quick during lunch hours. We will come back.

I have been coming to Mekong for 6+ years and I cannot get enough of it. My friends call me a curry crackhead because I want it All the time. The woman that manages the restaurant is adorable and always friendly.. She has a very distinct laugh. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves good food. It's well... More

Mekong Cafe is very, very small. The parking can be bad, the wait can be long and it can be hard to get one of the few tables in this tiny place, but it is oh so worth it! I've taken to placing to go orders and just carrying out on weekends because that's when it's the busiest. Having been... More

Food is great and worth the wait. If you are in a hurry better to order and pickup. Drunken noodles and Pad Thai are my favorites.

We've come here for lunch and dinner(a lot). Food is always excellent and they have a nice wine menu. The atmosphere is quaint, intimate...and at times can be a little snug(when it gets busy - which thankfully doesn't happen too much.) the prices are great - the lunch combo menu is an excellently portioned. We recommend the Massaman - lunch... More

Read some of the other reviews. Very good food but, just OK service. I had the Pad Thia chicken, level 5. I needed to spice it up to get to a good thia hot but, they gave me the thia hot dried chillies to do so, I was happy.
