About
Our restaurant is currently closed due to a recent flash flood, but Hoovers River Resort has a small deli and an amazing mercantile for snacks, gifts, and souvenirs. Our cabins, RV slots, and our mercantile gift shop are open until the end of September.

We visited Marysvale for some white-water adventures on the Sevier River with Always Rafting (located inside Hoover's). After a couple of hours on the river, we were so thankful to come back to Hoover's. We did a little shopping inside the store and ordered some cheeseburgers and fries. The food was absolutely delicious! I only wish we would have made room for a milkshake! Everyone on staff was nice and so helpful w/ all of our questions. We even decided on a whim to rent a UTV and spent four hours adventuring through the most amazing countryside!

This cute little restaurant and gift shop has been renovated since the flood in the summer of 2018. It now offers a few select sandwiches which are delicious and served on wonderful bread. You can also buy chips and drinks. There's also delicious ice cream available.

Had a very tasty late lunch after riding the ATV trails. Good food and friendly service. We got caught in the rain while riding the trails and I was hoping they served soup but they didn’t. Still, the grilled cheese and burgers we ordered were very satisfying.
They also have a nice little “store” to purchase snacks, drinks, and other souvenirs. An RV/camping park is next door with easy access to the trails. There’s a recreated ghost town and mill nearby which was fun for the kids to see.
This is a great stop while out riding.

Roadtrip down the river to this cute location. Decent sandwiches and service. Guess it was all rebuilt after a flood in 2018. Good choice

This used to be a great restaurant with an all American comfort food menu that made you want to drive far out of your way to get here. Now it is just a good stop along your route. The food is still good, but it won't keep you up the night before your visit dreaming about the menu like it had the past few years. Sometimes progress isn't progress at all.

We appreciate your honest review. Hoovers has been through many owners and everyone seems to have their favorite. Me personally, I wish I could go back and taste some of Ada's food (the original owner). There are those that swear she was the best cook in county. If you are looking for a full service restaurant- we can refer you to some great places. We are more designed for a grab and go "snak-shak" for riders and anyone passing by- so you hit the nail on the head as far as our food options are concerned. If you ever need a great place to stay during a weekend- drive behind the restaurant and see what Hoovers really has to offer. There has been a dramatic improvement for our guests that choose to stay with us.

Stopped in for a snack after riding the trails. Nice little place. Great gift shop. Staff was friendly. They gave my kid an ice cream for his birthday. Stop in and you won’t be disappointed.

At here and other places in the area. This is one of the better places to eat. They had live music when I was there. The service was kind and food very satisfying. I wouldn’t recommend big rock candy mountain resort restaurant.

We stopped here prior to a rafting trip. Was not expecting much, but was incredibly impressed with the food and the service. Our large group were extremely impressed with the freshness and the flavors of the food. The beers were good, and the atmosphere was interesting. We believe that we have found a gem here! Most of us grabbed shirts on our way out, and there is even local crafts and jewelry that you can buy there.

We have stayed in the Marysvale area on many occasions as it is a great area to ride Jeeps, ATV's and side by sides. In the past we have enjoyed the menu and a great place to be served dinner.
Unfortunately, the restaurant has been sold to new owners and they have completely changed the menu and service plan. Now you order burgers at the front counter and take a number to wait for your food. We were looking for a place to relax and be waited on after a hot trail ride.
We were also looking for more than a burger. We went down the road to a restaurant that provided more than burgers.

I've been going to Hoovers for years. Found out it was sold. The new owners are very friendly and have modernize the business. Most of the menu is hamburgers (they have salads too and other items) didn't think too much of it, well, I was wrong. One of the best hamburgers I have ever tasted. (I got the mushroom /Swiss) And the fries are awesome! Not to mention the diet coke on their crushed ice was also the best tasting. (I've been to a lot of restaurants, most soft drinks are bland) The staff were super awesome and way friendly. The two woman that cooked and took the order, are super fantastic! I will definitely be going back, I'm 3 hours away and I would drive there just to eat. 10/10? nah....15/10! Thanks for an awesome meal and great experience!!

Spent 3 days in Marysvale and ate at Hoover's all three nights. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. If you are ever in the area, stop in!

The menu was very interesting. I had a brat with a spicy sauce that was fabulous. My son has the trout that had been caught about 2 hours earlier. They also had the usual burgers and fries but if you want great food you may not expect try this place.
