Environment and service is great but I prefer more authentic and spicy Mexican food. Prices are cheap and place is clean

We really like El Toro Viejo. The food is consistently good and so is the service. They offer traditional Mexican dishes as well as some more unusual. The enchiladas de mole are superb, as well as enchiladas tri color. Burritos are good and a generous serving!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Logan. The food is great and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. My favorite is the enchiladas de mole.

This is pretty good. Not the very best I have ever had, but excellent. Great menu, clean place. I think it is better than the overhyped Cafe Sabor and easier to get in to. The rice and beans are not so mushy as a lot of places. It's a good, consistent fare.

We stopped in for the first time for an early dinner and were warmly greeted and immediately seated. The usual basket of tortilla chips were brought, served warmed, to our table, along with a slightly mild salsa verde and extremely mild salsa rosa, both excellent and made in house. The menu is extensive, reasonably priced, and easy to understand. I... More

I have been to El Toro Viejo many times and I have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding and the employees are very helpful and considerate of our needs. I recommend the Loco Burrito or the Tacos al carbon. Enjoy.

We just convinced our vegan/FODMAP diet daughter to go to dinner with us. If you don't know what that means, she can basically eat nothing and it's near impossible to eat out. Our waitress was SO helpful and came back with a special salad created just for her. We were so grateful and so impressed. Thanks for making our evening... More

I must be in the minority, but my wife and I were not impressed. Chile rellenos is not supposed to taste like scrambled eggs and spinach. My wife's black bean burrito was just, meh. The only high point was the fresh tomato salsa and tortilla chips, made in house. Everyone I've talked to about it writes me off by saying,... More

Being lifelong Texans, our family are pretty skeptical (if not a bit of snobbery) of Mexican food away from home. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place in Logan. Having never been to Utah, the menu items and variety were very impressive. The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5/5 was the red & green sauces had no heat... More
