Saturday in Covid 19 Land...there were a number of patrons but it wasn't "busy." Things started out well but quickly went downhill. My wife, a vegetarian, ordered nachos without meat but she asked them to add black beans and some spinach queso on top. The...queso came in a separate bowl (which wasn't a big deal, except...) and was cold. There were also no black beans and the dish had very cheese--they skimped. This was not a deal breaker but through in that our waitress (Paulette) was less than attentive really put the icing on the cake (or the honey on the flan). We asked for extra napkins which she never brought, thankfully another nice young lady intervened to help. She didn't check after receiving our food to see if everything was "good." And she offered to refill my tea long after I had finished eating. She was very nice but her attention to us was lacking. I thought she would have gone out of her way to take care of us given that she knocked over my wife's water glass and we had to shoot out of our seats like Olympic sprinter Hosane Bolt. The meal was less than inspiring. The service was tepid at best. And I really feel that no one went out of their way to see if everything was pleasing for us. We will not be returning. If they can't get the basics right on a slow night then imagine what a busy one would be like.More

We went for a birthday celebration. Luckily we went early because closer to the dinner hour it became very busy. We were seated immediately and were waited on promptly. Our waitress was competent and very considerate. We were served in a timely manner and the...food was the quality we had expected and was moderately priced. On average it was about $15 a menu item without drinks. It was the typical American version of Mexican fare. The food was served hot and tasty.More

When we get a hankering for Fajitas we head over to Garcias. They keep us supplied with chips and salsa while we are waiting. If you are like me and like your salsa hotter than the house salsa they will bring it for you. We...like the portions also and there is nothing like the sound of sizzling fajitas when they bring them to your table.More

This place is right on the corner of a major shopping mall and is a fine eatery. Every Tuesday and Saturday they allow chidren to eat free. The food is excellent. If you like Mexican, this is as good as you will find and the...prices are right. Service is excellent and the waiters are cheerful. It makes you want to tip big, as it is a very good experience.More

My wife and all her extended family decided to visit her for dinner. This was the worst idea EVER!! When we got there, we told them we had a family of 10. The staff informed us that it would be 25 minutes. 25 minutes came...by and they told us that that it would be longer since the staff needed to still prep the table. after 30 total minutes of waiting, we went back and were seated. We ordered our food from the waiter and she went and got our drinks. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium well (slightly pink) from the menu and my wife ordered the enchilada. When my steak arrived it was very raw. The waitress completely disappeared and I waited 10 minutes for her to come. She never came and I had to go to the front door to ask the greeter to go get her. When the waitress came she explained that they have a new cook that doesnt know how to make a steak. She took it back to have it cooked more. When she brought it out, the Steak was still raw. She explained she would take it back again. When it came out the 3rd time, it was still very pink and at that point I gave up and at the cooked part. I will NEVER go to this place again!More

The service was good and quick. You get salsa and bean dip with your chips, which were good. The fajitas were excellent. We also tried the chicken and spinach quesadilla. It was really good. The rice was very good, as well. Will definetly go back!

We stopped into Garcia's because we were in the mood for Mexican food and it was close to our hotel. It is a fairly large restaurant and we were seated almost immediately. They started us with warm chips and salsa and refried beans (frijoles) for...dipping. We could have made a meal of just that! We signed up for their Loyalty Program before we went and received a free appetizer just for signing up. So we started with the Cheese Crisp, it was a crispy tortilla with baked cheese on top and was very good. We ordered the "Make your own Combo" and the Monterey Wrap. Both were very good and the potions were large. The menu is your typical Mexican fare; Combination Plates, Burritos, Enchiladas, Tacos and various specialties. They also have a kid's menu and have no problem making vegan dishes. They also have a desert menu and a full service bar. The staff was friendly, food came out fast and hot and they checked on us regularly to make sure everything was ok. It appeared that many locals frequent this establishment which is always a good sign. Don't know if this is the best Mexican food in the area but we were very pleased and will come again when we get back to the area. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy Mexican food.More
