We were passing through Salt Lake area and were originally looking for a restaurant in Ogden, but a review for an ogden breakfast restaurant referenced Sill's Cafe and I looked it up. I couldn't tell Sill's Cafe was a waitress short this morning as the staff was very pleasant and we were served hot coffee and breakfast quickly. Their scones... More

If you leave hungry its your fault. Yes they are busy and there is usually a wait line, but it is well worth it. Sos is almost as good as mine. Ok its better than mine. Because i dont have to cook it.

I'm all about the breakfast here. I love the pancakes, the biscuits and gravy, and the sos. Even those scones are great. The waitresses are always nice and very welcoming. They even remember us and my kids picky preferences. My husband loves their hot beef sandwich. This is a favorite place of ours. My kids usually pick this place for... More

This is the standard barer for all of the other cafe's. I have never found one that comes close...and I love eating at hometown cafe's. Food selection is great and no matter what you get it will be good. Breakfast is served all day but all the other stuff on the menu is hard to pass-up. Service is great. The... More

I had a great breakfast. I recommend the scone it has creamy honey butter and delicious. That was the best part of the breakfast. My egg was cooked just right and I had a pile of hashbrowns. All delicious, but I could not eat it all. I did eat almost all the scone it was so good.

My friend and I called ahead to get 2 scones so we wouldn't have to wait in that awful line. It was super fresh and really cheap! Sills is the only sit down diner open on Sunday's so it's almost always packed. You'll have to wait for at least 45 minutes just to sit down.

This little hole in the wall cafe is amazing. The wait was only 30 minutes and the food was delicious. The honey butter on the scone was by far the best honey butter I've ever had. The portion sizes were huge. I had the ham and cheese omelet it was packed with ham. We will be back.

I have always wanted to try Sill's on Layton. I never went to the old one but thought I would give the new location a try. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and they had homemade chicken noodle soup. The chicken fried steak was big and the the portion of the potatoes and gravy was also big. The chicken fried... More
