Wild Thyme Cafe grows much of our produce using organic methods. We offer high quality beef, fish, vegetarian and vegan choices. Some entrees are gluten free. We serve wine, beer and various spirits as well as espresso drinks. House made desserts comfort the soul, from salted caramel cheesecake to our favorite carrot cake. Also a vegan, gluten free chocolate mousse. The dessert menu changes with the seasons: might be peach cobbler or apple crisp. All made in small batches. Our patio is dog-friendly. After reading Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to stop here after a visit to the North RIm on our way back to our AirBnB in Hatch, Utah. This was about 2/3 of the way back to Hatch and we arrived around 5:30. We were greeted...cordially and even though they had just finished cleaning up from a rehearsal dinner we were welcomed guests. My sister and I enjoyed the generous portion of BarBQ and fresh trout and had some BBQ to take back to our AirBnB which we enjoyed the following evening. The delightfully created margarita and gin drink were a nice touch. We would return if ever in the area. We later found out that Kanab is part of the Grand Staircase monument and there is a visitor center there.More

We had an outstanding meal ordered online for take-out. Enjoyed excellent grilled trout, Goddess salad with falafel, and Death by Chocolate. Will definitely return when back in Kanab.

We ate here on two occasions, excellent both times. The ribs are really good and in hindsight big enough to share. Very accommodating with dietary restrictions, such as lactose intolerance (no dairy). They even have a vegan chocolate dessert.

My husband, my two teen daughters, and I ate here twice on our vacation. The food is excellent and interesting. They have a white balsamic vinegarette that is amazing! We highly recommend it.

During our Bryce Canyon tour our guide, Kelly mentioned that The Wild Thyme Cafe was a great place to eat. We decided to try it for dinner. She was absolutely correct! Food was delicious and service was great. Our waitress was Jenne. I and the...pistachio chicken and Mike had bacon wrapped meatloaf. Both were excellent. Would definitely return.More

A great local resturant offering fresh veggies and herbs grown in the back. A must try is the chicken sandwich with sage butter smashed potatoes

Oh, my! If you ever find yourself near Kanab, Utah, you simply must eat at Wild Thyme! Salad from produce they grow, the pistachio chicken with sage potatoes and asparagus was mouth watering, and we are finishing with salted caramel cheesecake. Yum! While on a...long trip visiting western National Parks, we stopped here for lunch. It was by far the best meal we had on our trip.More

Had a really great dinner at Wild Thyme this evening. Menu selection is varied and excellent. Everything from tofu to ribeyes. I had the Neapolitan lasagna. It was absolutely delicious. Really enjoyed our meal. Nice that they offer well-crafted cocktails as well.

We had lunch on the patio during the week and it was lovely. Both the service and the food were excellent. The portions were large. My husband had a pastrami-topped hamburger which was huge. I had the blackened fish tacos. We will definitely eat here...when we return to the area.More

We liked this place so much we went twice during our stay in Kanab. The ingredient were so fresh and they really paid attention to use of herbs and veggies. We had dinner one night and I had trout, which was delicious. My husband had...ribs which were generous and yummy. They are popular, so plan accordingly!More

Make a reservation for this gem! Had a great dinner, timely service and it was very reasonably priced. Will go back on my next trip to Kanab!

We lucked out as this wonderful restaurant was across the street from the Holiday Inn. We visited this café twice and enjoyed the pistachio chicken and Jamaican pork rice bowl. The chicken and pork were tender and had a nice flavor to them. Desserts were...the lava cake and key lime pie. The key lime pie was so light it was like a mousse. Friendly staff and service was quick. Love that the patio was pet friendly and we saw quite a few dogs hanging with their owners.More

The chef does an amazing job making the (vegetarian) food look good and colorful. The food looks more delicious than it actually is, however. The yellow curry was somewhat original with falafels made out of lentils and fenugreek. The turmeric (which provides the color to...the secret sauce of theirs) was a bit excessive and can lead to a bitter aftertaste. The sesame tofu is ok, and delightfully bland if bland is your thing. Both items have the same colorful mix of veggies and wanton chips, which adds color and crunch respectively, so the chef certainly likes to keep things simple. The Neapolitan Lasagna is overpriced and is nothing special at all. Do not try it. Also, note they will charge you for any additional bread and love to nickel and dime you for everything. They never come to fill up water - maybe because it's free, or come to ask you if everything is ok. And they overcharged me on what I paid as tip - so please ask for a printed and emailed receipt from them and hold on to it.More
