At Kanab Creek Bakery, we bake old world style artisanal breads and pastries using the finest, locally sourced ingredients as well as traditional breakfast and lunch items. Start your morning with a freshly-baked croissant or a hearty breakfast. We open at 6:30 AM so you can have breakfast then take one of our sandwiches for lunch as you explore the beautiful sights around Kanab or stop in for a Cappuccino and a decadent dessert after your hike. If lunch is more your style, try our house-made Crepe Parisienne or bowl of soup.
Good food. Understaffed right now so 45 minute wait for anything too. Wanted $3 foe can of coke and $5.45 for glass of OJ. Got a 20oz coke at gas station next door for $1.80. If you got the time and money....
When ever we travel my husband scouts out and makes it a priority to find bakeries. Kanab Creek went to the top of the list. Delicious fresh baked pastry and opened on Sunday. But as we left Kanab we were sad to find it closed...on Monday. Sorry no pictures because I hated to post pictures that he dug into and were half eaten by the time I was ready for a pic. Just go there and you will love it!More
Seems like a busy little place. Parking a bit tight. Desserts in the case look delicious, but I didn’t try one. The breakfast burrito had really good ingredients, sauce on top a little different, though.
I had high hopes and read reviews that were positive so I was disappointed with my peach turnover, no flavor or sweetness, my coffee had grounds in it. They were busy and the line was long. Maybe on a slower day quality might be better.
I ordered the burrito without meat. They lost my order, and once they finally made it, they put meat it in. Other food tasted alright. The whole order deal took over an hour.
Overall not worth it. Plenty of other spots in Kanab with better...food and service.More
We got food and coffee for a to go breakfast. First rate coffee. The pastry was so tasty. I had a pear almond tart that was the perfect combination of flaky and chewy and was mildly sweet. So good. I also had a sausage breakfast...burrito. The burrito was made to order and contained eggs, Italian Sausage, hash browns and fresh veggies. The burrito was made to order and set a new breakfast burrito standard for me! Highly recommended!More
We stopped here after entering the lottery for the Wave down the road. It had excellent coffee and quality pastries and sandwiches. There is socially distanced seating in the gallery next door as well as some outdoor tables. We had breakfast here and picked up...some sandwiches to take with us hiking.More
We were really disappointed. Yes it was during COVID and at the end of their day (Saturday at 4:30 pm) so there was hardly a selection. Latte was lukewarm...chocolate chip cookie and croissant were way overcooked and hard to even bite..scone was also overdone. To...be fair we will visit again when we are in Kanab during the morning but this visit was not a success and we went early just to stop here and get some baked goods.More
Perhaps the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. Definitely the best chocolate almond croissant I’ve ever had. Coffee was great. Staff was friendly. I’m definitely stopping for breakfast again before leaving Kanab.
