We stopped here prior to our day trip to Zion NP. We ordered two pastries and coffee to go. The coffee was fine but the pastries were excellent! Would recommend to stop for a treat or dessert.

A great bakery in Kanab! The service was a bit slow because it was so busy, but the food was WELL worth the wait. We had the quiche which was quite good, and the Piperade Vasquise (?) which was phenomenal! Nice place to sit outside...and enjoy the atmosphere! The only downside is that the parking is a bit difficult to get in and out of when the main highway is busy.More
This spot is actually not so great as it might seem from the outside. The food (pancakes, eggs) was ok while the coffee was to our disappointment of relatively poor quality. In our view the place is overpriced. And why do you wrap up EVERYTHING...in plastics even if you sit in?! And everything seems overpriced.More
Small locally owned bakery with made from scratch food. Had an excellent quiche, but an order of two quiches, one coffee and two plain croissants came to $42! Crazy expensive! Pleasant personnel, quick service, but people were lined up out the door. Most patrons seemed...to grab and go, but that was probably due to the not-available nor inviting seating areas.More
Food was not very good. After standing in line for an 8:00 am opening, they finally opened the doors at 8:15. Very slow. Ham and cheese croissants were not ready. After 20 more minutes we got the $9 croissants which were cold. There was one...piece of ham and cheese. The two pastries we got had no taste. - plum and mango. It was $32 for food that was not very good, Went to Honeys grocery store the next day and had a fabulous ham, egg and cheese croissant or $3.00. This place needs to get their act togetherMore
The quiche was good, but small—definitely not $14 worth. The pancakes with real butter and maple syrup was worth the $10, but I would steer clear of the higher ticket items. Their version of Croque Monsieur was dry and made with a cheese based sauce,...not a true bechamel sauce.More
We were passing through town and wanted to have breakfast. We were just lucky to find this extraordinary bakery/café. The place is small and very busy. We lined up at the counter and had difficulty deciding which wonderful looking pastry we should have. I decided...on quiche. I have never had better! Flaky buttery crust and delicious filling. We also tried chocolate croissant and almond cherry filled croissant. Out standing. I just wish that this little place was back east so I could enjoy it again.More
Chai was just a tea bag with steamed milk/water, not much flavor unfortunately! Almond croissant was solid. Egg,ham & cheese croissant was decent. Everything is pretty pricey, and a line out the door even at 8 am. They have a more extensive menu which you...can order from which is nice but it’ll take more time and cost you as much as a sit down meal!More
It was Sunday morning and we drove all over town to find an open restaurant. This was the only place available and it was crowded. The line extended outside. There was limited seating inside so most folks ate outside. The set-up for ordering was cumbersome...and they need more help. Having another person make the coffee would speed things along. The pastries were very good - flaky and flavorful. Really enjoyed the baked goods.More
I finally got the chance to dine at Kanab Creek Bakery. Was my breakfast fantastic....no. Was my breakfast tasty and enjoyable.....absolutely. No, it is not Paris, but my Croque Madame was tasty and the pastries were very good. The latte was fantastic. Service with a...smile and dishes arrive quickly. Will go back tomorrow for sure. Recommended.More
The croissants and pastries were good and we also purchased a loaf of bread to take home. We had them slice it. It was wrapped in paper and sliced into big chunk slices. The bread unfortunately did not taste fresh. I am somewhat an "expert"...on bread and this was absolutely more than a few days old. We threw it away! Not sure why they would give this to people. No flavor other than old tasting and crust over browned!! Sorry bakers I would advise not giving your customers old stuff!!More
Nice place and nice people. All the croissants and sandwiches were served cold and had to be heated in the microwave. The French bread loaf was totally crumbling and we had to throw it away.... We paid $60 which is a very high price for...such minor pastries. The almond croissant and the pain au chocolat were good.More
Owner claims food is fresh when I know for a fact they're at least day old. People in town talk man, don't let your ego drive you crazy. You're food, is in fact, not great. Its not that nobody wants to work. Nobody wants to...work with YOU. You are abusive and steal tips. Learn the law, learn how to bake fresh, learn how to treat people, and grow up.More
What should have been a stop of a few minutes for a couple of croissants turned in to a wait of over an hour. The pastry was good, but certainly not worth the wait time. The lady behind the counter was overworked and, like many...other establishments, probably has a difficult time hiring staff. Add to that the great mystery of which days and times they’ll be open and you have a a good case study for a failed business. The line continued to grow as we waited and many behind us finally left; I’d guess $200-$300 in business simply walked out the door. If you’re in need of a pastry, can determine which days they’re open and have a couple hours to kill then the bakery may be your stop. Good luck.More
If you need breakfast on the go in Kanab, this is it. The couple running the business are friendly and obviously working as hard as they can. We waited in line for over 45 minutes and the food was only average, especially for the price...and wait time. But, if you need breakfast on the go, this is your place.More
