What a wonderful surprise to find an awesome vegetarian restaurant in this small town. Majority of our group are not vegetarians and still thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The food was delicious, service was good. Make this a definite stop if you're ever in the area.

What a wonderful stop to have salad and pizza. Mel, our server, was wonderful! The Caesar salad was delicious and the Italian sausage pizza was amazing. We can’t wait to go back

I came here in October 20 21, and I came back again in the spring! I’m volunteering at Best Friends, and this is a great place to go for a casual meal, tons of options, and I absolutely love their beyond burgers. They were quite...busy when I visited, but they were able to see me inside at a tiny table, and the service was great. Highly recommend it!More

Pizza Hut down the street would be a better option. We ordered the “White Pocket” pizza for $18. The chicken was processed into cubes the tasted like rubber. The red peppers and onions were all piled on to one or two slices. The crust tasted...like cardboard. It was also under cooked and doughy. The restaurant advertises wood fired pizza but while we were there the gas flame remained steady and no wood was ever added to the oven. We were extremely disappointed with our experience and caution anyone reading this review to go elsewhere for pizza.More

Not great food and my daughter threw up all the pasta that night. Even the cheese pizza wasn't good, we ate the crust. I will say we had a good waiter.

We liked the pizza and the experience but don't expect to be wowed. Very unique pizza options. Good beer options. Outdoor seating is great even in winter.

I liked that this place has vegetarian meals. I had the ziti. When served, I was warned the plate was "very hot." I believed her but despite a hot plate, the ziti was barely warm. Server was not the friendliest and the place was extremely...noisy despite only being about 30-40% full. We would not go again.More

The pizza was fine, nothing special, but it hit the spot. No staff wore masks; customers waiting to be seated did not wear masks. Faux-southwestern vibe. And what's with the ridiculous gas tube lights out front--pointless fuel burning.

We ordered the Peekaboo Pear Pizza and it was delicious. The Southwest salad was okay. The avocado was a bit brown and unappetizing. If you like thin crust, I recommend the pizza. We had take-out and the service was quick and easy to pick up.

We needed a place to eat a late dinner after picking up a family member from a remote trailhead 50 miles from Kenab around 7 pm. . We had 10 miles of rough dirt road to cover before reaching the highway, so did not know...how long it would take to get to town and a restaurant. With 2 hungry kids and a cyclist who had just ridden 800 trail miles on a mountain bike, we needed something more than “fast food”. Luckily we found Peekaboo Canyon, and were able to enjoy a great meal at what was a pretty late hour for Kanab. We called ahead and they had an outside table for us at 8:30, as requested. Note that the outside tables are in a partially-enclosed, heated area, so it was not at all cold at the table. And mercifully free of the loud music they were playing inside the restaurant—-the only negative thing I can say here. The kids and the hungry cyclist took one look at the menu and wanted to order one of everything. We ended up with a huge salad to share, a couple of appetizers, a pizza, Mac and cheese for one child, and a burger with two kinds of peppers (roasted red peppers and mild green chile) for me. We did not realize that the restaurant is vegetarian/ vegan until I asked for my burger “rare”. The server smiled and said the choice was Impossible meat or Beyond Meat, not beef. I chose the Impossible burger at his suggestion, and it was delicious and something I would have again ( and I freely admit I am a happy carnivore). Our server was helpful, cheerful, and as efficient as he could be in a very busy situation. The reviews that say this place is “vegan” are incorrect. The cheeses they use are real (dairy) cheese. So while many of the menu items are truly vegan, many others use good quality cheeses, so are vegetarian rather than vegan. But whatever food category you fall in, you can have a tasty and enjoyable meal at Peekaboo Canyon, and I highly recommend it. Our only regret was we did not have room for dessert.More

This is a rare foray into a vegetarian restaurant for my wife and I and we were surprised to find one in such a small town. Kanab makes up in location what it lacks in size, however. It’s practically equidistant to several national parks, ie...Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim and on a main highway - so lots of customer potential! All that said, it appeared to us that most of the clientele was local. I would say the menu’s strong point is wood fired pizza, well made and delicious with fresh ingredients. Other mains would include burgers (beyond meat is best but they also have a portobello patty) and grilled cheese sandwiches with a twist. Appetizers include Coyote Buttes (a kind of latke) and Hell Dives (roasted artichokes), salads looked very good, and ample desserts - though they were out of carrot cake which I’m sorry I missed. There is a small liquor menu with local draft beers on offer (no stronger than 4% alcohol - remember, this is Utah!). Service was very good and kind. Our friendly and server took excellent care of us. A word to the wise: this is a popular establishment- make a reservation!More

Love love love this place! Everything from the delicious food, the attentive service, and the outdoor dining space made it perfect. Try the pizza, wow. I come from a town that’s increasingly known for its pizza, and this was better. They offer both vegan and...vegetarian dishes, and they have a good, simple wine list. The staff was great, especially Parthy, who even went so far as to give me some dog treats from home, for my dog (long story, but she was a life saver!). I will definitely be back each time I visit Kanab!More

Had to wait a bit but it was worth the wait. Had their special grilled cheese Sandwich with pear and compost. Was absolutely wonderful. We also had a bowl of their carrot ginger soup. Scrumptious. Others at table ordered a pizza and Mac-n-cheese. All very...good and would come back when in the area.More
