Old friends rendezvous on a glorious November weekday in St George Utah. We mostly wanted to enjoy each other's company for the day. With no particular place to go, we decided to explore Kayenta Art Village at nearby Coyote Gulch. The entire community is designed so that it tastefully blends with the arid red rock landscape. The artwork provided the... More

Loved this place. It has such a charming character with indoor and outside dining. Lots of little nooks and crannies, artwork and spectacular views. The food is varied with a SW flair and consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner: waffles, egg dishes, salads, small plates, ciabatta, burgers, and amazing desserts. Beer and coffees are also available. Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 9-5/ Friday... More

No trip to the Coyote Gulch art enclave in Kayenta would be complete without a meal at Xetava Gardens Cafe. Indoors has a warm, comfortable atmosphere, but if the weather is good, dining on the patio is sublime! Great and assorted menu catering to all tastes and desires (hamburgers to gluten free). Great care and detail go into the preparation... More

We had lunch at Xetava Gardena Cafe during our stay at the Red Mountain Resort. The cafe is located among shops of beautiful artisanal crafts. The menu offers a lot of options. Our meals were delicious. The service was not as friendly as we have seen in the area. We would go back when we are visiting the area again.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to talk up the wonderful Xetava Garden Café. I heard about their famous lemonade while visiting a resort nearby. Sure enough; it lived up the high X-pectations set. Stop in for the Royden Lemonade which is a unique blend of what I assume must be fresh lemons, coconut, vanilla and mint. Next... More

Hiked the Red Canyon in the morning, shopped the artisan goods offered in Kayenta and worked up a pretty good appetite. Xetava was too convenient so we sat inside and ordered some delicious cold drinks that really hit the spot and quenched our thirst. My gyro salad was simply delicious. Good offerings that are gluten free, but I was sad... More

Four of us had lunch on a Sunday. Place was busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. Choice of inside or patio seating under canvas shade (we chose inside). Interesting interior decor- chic, comfortable, taste of the desert and mountains with a large central "boulder". Menu had lots of nice and (for the area) unusual combinations in small bites,... We enjoyed lunch here with friends, and we really enjoyed the innovative flavor twists that characterized our meals. Two of us had the daily special; a flatbread loaded with vegetables, shrimp, and spices. Well done. The Spicy Hummus Plate included a generous portion of well seasoned freshly made hummus, accompanied by several dipping vegetables and wonderfully spiced/grilled pita; the pita... More

This restaurant - the only one in Kayenta - has an extensive and creative menu and offers a lovely setting for both indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor seating is in a shaded courtyard surrounded by art galleries. Indoor seating is around a pile of large rocks that the restaurant seems to be built around. Service was great, and prices were... More
