We had breakfast here and everything was so good. I had to buy a couple of the homemade jellies. I am looking forward to having them on toast. It was very bright and modern decorated. This seemed like a good place for people to gather...and relax to enjoy a good meal.More

Waited in line over an hour and had two couples with the same size party seated before us. Food was actually pretty good. When I got home and looked at the charges they had added an additional 15 percent so called Service Charge without my...permission. Completely dishonest. Will not be back to such a crooked establishment again.More

We went in for breakfast (with a group of friends) after seeing amazing reviews. First we get seated and are told to pull the menu up on our phones. I know during covid a lot of restaurants are doing this to save on paper. But...it’s not hard to hand out normal menus and have your staff sanitize them after each customer. This should’ve been happening all the time during normal circumstances. Then we have to go back up front to order. Now this is extremely ridiculous as you’ve now created a big group of people standing together at the door instead of “social distancing”. That was a great idea not. We then sit down to wait for drinks. This took at least 10 mins. Coffees came with no sweetener or stir sticks. When asked for it we were told just a min. 10 mins later as coffee is getting cold my husband stood up and found sweetener on another table. After 45 more mins food started to trickle out. One of our party’s food was cold and no cheese on the kitchen sink. Another meal came Out with no gravy. Both of these dishes were also served cold. When the gravy came out we asked for refills on all our drinks. Slowing 1 by 1 we got refills. Then the rest of our food started to come out. My husbands eggs were hard poached his were suppose to be easy and mine were over easy suppose to be medium. Instead of waiting for new eggs we decided to just switch. At one point we were told sorry we are really short staffed. It looks like this has been an issue for a couple weeks now so maybe the manager/owner should staff more people. Although I’ve waited tables and worked in the restaurant industry for years and this restaurant wasn’t very busy and the amount of staff I saw there should have been able to handle it better. I never did get my refill on my drink. Oh and to top it off instead of being able to leave my own tip it’s automatically added. On my $26 bill I was charged almost $37. So a $10+ tip is really excessive for the lack of service we got. We were all very disappointed And will not be returning to this establishment.More

Ok. Cool and kinda millennial-ish breakfast for dinner place. But the food was really just average. My wife’s potatoes were actually sub par. Could have been so much better with just a little effort.

This review only applies to the beignets, but they have eliminated any thought of eating here. We like beignets a lot. We've had great ones in New Orleans and very good ones at Luxor in Las Vegas. In fact we had very good ones at...the original Pig and a Jelly Jar. We thought to have some take out beignets for breakfast today, but were appalled. Rather than small pastries, freshly fried and coated in sugar, these were fairly tasteless large chunks of dense bread. To be fair, they were coated in powdered sugar. The rest of the menu may be fine, but avoid these "beignets" like the plague.More

Great service, quaint atmosphere, casual and comfortable; great food. Beignets are DELICIOUS and their home made jellies are fabulous--flavorful and not too sweet. Really good beer selection and interesting cocktails. Everyone can get something they want, caters to all tastes and diets.

My experience at Pig & a Jelly Jar was amazing! We had a party of 3 on a Saturday morning and the wait was only around 20 minuets, we also looked at the menu at that time so we could order as soon as we...were sat. Our server was very friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I really enjoy cheesy hash browns and while they don’t have them on their menu they were more than happy to add cheese to their breakfast potatoes for me and they were delicious. The overall environment, service, and food was outstanding and I’ll definitely be going back!More

I sat for 20 minutes being constantly passed by 3 servers before I walked out. Apparently you can’t eat alone here.

I had Sunday Brunch here and there was a waiting list. I had the Pig Breakfast which is two eggs, potatoes, toast and choice of meat. I opted for Bacon and was pleased with the quality of the bacon. I asked for tomatoes instead of...potatoes and soft bacon. I got the tomatoes (and they were very fresh and good), but I got crisp bacon. I don't care for most restaurant coffee, but I really enjoyed theirs and the house made jelly was very good as well. I have had the same thing at their other two restaurants and this location was consistent with the other two. Service has been consistently good at all three locations as well. They don't have counter service, but they did have a few tables for two, so as a solo guest I was able to jump the waiting list and was seated right away. There are two restaurants that share a parking lot, so parking was somewhat limited on my Sunday noon visit. There is a patio area with outdoor seating. They allow dogs at this location, but they are restricted to the patio.More

This is a fun and charming place for breakfast and brunch. The sign says they serve southern comfort food. Not exactly sure about that. There are a few southern items, cider greens, chicken n waffles, catfish and chow chow. That was about it for their...southern offerings. However what they do serve is quite good. I enjoyed the Mexican scramble with bacon and home fries. My fiancé enjoyed the hash hash. Both were full of flavor. Also a true southern comfort spot always serves bread with their meals. While toast and biscuits are on the menu, they are not a side for the entrees they are either part of the entree or you have to pay extra for it. The atmosphere is open and inviting the staff is very friendly and attentive. They also allow dogs on the patio. They do offer beer and wine. Cocktails are made with either beer or wine. So interesting. Their take on the Bloody Mary is made with a lime beer instead of vodka. Tasty and spicy. Overall I would rate it an A-.More
